She stared at her reflection and felt the hairs of the back of her neck prickle slightly, and unnerved suddenly by the mirror, she grabbed a large blanket and threw it over the reflective object.
There was the sound of running footsteps outside of her door, followed by someone rapidly knocking. “Hawke!” She knew the voice— it was Isabela, and she sounded rather desperate, which was surprising. Isabela always sounded so self-assured. Hawke felt worry begin to bubble as she opened the door.
The Rivani woman was looked almost pale, and her facial expression looked controlled, but in her eyes, Hawke could see she was worried. “What’s wrong?”
“He’s gotten worse. They don’t think…” Isabela’s lower lip trembled, and she looked away, and Hawke’s stomach dropped.

It's both thrilling and embarassing as hell when people fangirl/boy over your work. I won't lie. I love(d) it. But it also kind of scared me, as I started fearing letting them down.
Which, was the main reason I scrapped my afably funny, bad guy, magistor PoV prompt. It was tied to Fenris, but told more of Denerius and Fenris's "relationship" and seriously downplayed any romance between Hawke and Fenris.Maera Imrov wrote...
