I have been thinking about Fenris' memory loss. What does he remember? Is Fenris even his "real" name? Does he remember everything the Tevinter Magister did to him or is it progressive?

What do you mean? Men and women tend to look for different things when looking at an opposite sex . Eg men look at , lets say legs and hip-waist ratio, and women at, dunno, hands, face, eyes or butt, whatever.

First I was drooling then I was laughing, Cass vs. Varric always cracks me up. Awesome writing HolyJellyfish

I wrote it in an ealier post but I think his memory is like this:

Before slavery (was he born into it?) --> enslaved --> Lyrium experiments --> Being a slave -->Escaping --> DA2

The bold text is what he has forgotten. Not sure how much of the experiments he can remember. He might only remember the pain/torture.

I was thinking something similar, though I've been assuming he was born into slavery and probably spent most of his life as manual worker before the experiments, though I suppose he could have been sort of "groomed" for the who business, plucked from his mother/the slave pens when he was quite young and then conditioned continuously until he was old enough.

I wonder does he remember the experiments at all? If it's trauma induced amnesia, doesn't it make sense that his brain would put those memories under lock and key, so to speak?

We don't actually know a lot about slavery in Thedas, do we? But from the Kirkwall statues i think it was pretty dramatic...i think Fenris will rip my heart with his stories...

I suppose you could look at it that way, but I honestly don't see many things similar between Zevran and Fenris thus far. Yes they're both elves and yes, they both had some pretty awful experiences but I don't think crow training/what torture we saw and even the little we know has happened to Fenris (lyrium branded into your person doesn't sound fun) are exactly comparable.

The whole amnesia thing and white hair smells of Geralt the Riv. If he happens to slay monsters for hire I'll drop dead from laughter. But I guess that was done in Awakenings already.

Both games coming with few months in-between, how the hell one can find the time to sleep and go to work in the morning? 2011's looking grim :/

I agree that they aren't comparable and should not be at all. Maybe the slavery in Thedas would probably a nightmare and a half and the thought kind of sends a shiver down my spine.

I want to huggle him now...

The gaming week...my fav! Just me and the computer...

I actually have final exams in June so i am trying to finish all of my work till March (homework, diagrams) so i can focus only on learning and playing. Perfect life

After June i will pick AC:B, Fable 3 (if they will be released to PC), Skyrim, The witcher and everything else.
