I've finally played all the classes and weapon combos to get a feel for each one. 2 handed warrior has always been my favorite, but i'm starting to like the rogue more and more.


And back to my favorite 2 handed warrior...Fenris!

Same. Grabby Hawke. Ugh, I just...ack I played like hlaf the demo with femHawke and quit. Male Hawke, so much more charismatic. I is sorry, but femHawke has the charisma of a dishrag in the demo. Just compare her to to Isabela who just lights up the scene the second she appears. 

I adore isabela btw.

Guess I am one of the only ones who will be more than satisfied with Fenris as a straight option and Anders as bi.



Honestly, the whole "everyone should be bi so anyone can romance anyone" really destroys the suspension of disbelief. In any world, people have distinct likes and dislikes. Some are naturally bi or gay, most are usually straight. I think 2 out of 4 romance choices being bi is more than you would get in reality (please, none of the "but this is FANTASYYYYY", because without basis in real human interaction any story becomes trite).



I would be more impressed if more of the characters were romance possibilities but to the exclusions of said character's preferences, whether straight, bi, or strictly gay. Wish as we might that we knew everything about a character and what preferences they SHOULD have, WE didn't write them, we don't know everything about them, and finding out will be the fun part.



All that said, if Anders winds up being straight and Fenris bi, I don't have a problem with that. It's all in the characters and the story, and it won't change how my Hawke interacts with them.

Definitely. But there's that certain reason that a game would market f/f content while ignoring the m/m content. They're afraid of scaring off the hetero frat boy players or something. 

p.s. It's already scared off my homphobe-y little brother.  He only played DAO once and killed Zevran, and when I told him that it looks like the m/m guy in DA2 could be an integral, unavoidable party member (and the healer mage to boot) he declared he won't even play DA2. Typical. <_< But I predict he'll end up playing anyway after watching me play it - it'll be too awesome for him to ignore. Plus he'll get bored and need a game to play while he's waiting for Witcher 2. He'll just complain the whole time to make himself feel better.
