Okay, so, I was kinda "meh" when I discovered Fenris was a LI; not hating on him, but wasn't all that enthralled (from an OOC perspective, I figured I'd be much more interested in Varric from playing the demo xD). Then I found out the same guy who voiced Balthier is voicing Fenris, and his hotness factor just went up by over nine thousand!
Wasn't a big fan of Final Fantasy series, but damn. Balthier was money. Can't wait to get him as a companion now. :B

He's also hot IRL. Which is unfair, imo. You shouldn't have ultra-sexy voice AND be hot. Sort of like Ryan Reynolds shouldn't be THAT funny with THAT amazing a 6-pack.

Guess I am one of the only ones who will be more than satisfied with Fenris as a straight option and Anders as bi.
Honestly, the whole "everyone should be bi so anyone can romance anyone" really destroys the suspension of disbelief. In any world, people have distinct likes and dislikes. Some are naturally bi or gay, most are usually straight. I think 2 out of 4 romance choices being bi is more than you would get in reality (please, none of the "but this is FANTASYYYYY", because without basis in real human interaction any story becomes trite).
I would be more impressed if more of the characters were romance possibilities but to the exclusions of said character's preferences, whether straight, bi, or strictly gay. Wish as we might that we knew everything about a character and what preferences they SHOULD have, WE didn't write them, we don't know everything about them, and finding out will be the fun part.
All that said, if Anders winds up being straight and Fenris bi, I don't have a problem with that. It's all in the characters and the story, and it won't change how my Hawke interacts with them.
