Honestly, I remember a bunch of reviews when DA:O came out. They put the length anywhere from 20 to 80 hours. I usually complete it in 45. I don't know how you could do it in 20 and I don't see 80 being feasible either. So I take all those things with a grain of salt. If ME and ME2 are anything to go by (what with featuring a voiced protagonist and all), I think we should probably expect around 30-35 hours, maybe more, maybe less. I care less about length as long as the content's amazing and the replay value's high.

~50 hours seems to be the going rate at the moment. It apparently took one of the devs 100+ hours to complete it on Nightmare. If you play on Casual and don't do side missions, don't talk to companions, and skip dialogue, then it'll play out way quicker.

I can't remember exactly, but my ME1 games lasted anywhere from 30-45 hours; ME2 around 30-35; DAO I can't remember, but I think around the 45 hr mark. So going on that, I'd be happy if DA2 logged in at around 35-40 hours for me, since that would be consistent with what we've heard so far.

My first and second runs will undoubtedly be my longest - they always are.

I wouldnt mind if Fen will die. (DONT KILL ME) If his death will be somewhat placed in the main storyline, then I dont mind. But I would be surely sad afterwards.

Well, I don't really know how long it'll be. All I know is that my Lady Hawke is gonna get it on with Fenris. Because.. well.. he's pretty hot for being pixels and all.

Something has been said about this.. about the fact that companions might interpret gifts the wrong way and it will add rival points instead of friendship points.

Guys, I know you want to summon Gaider, but be careful please. Next thing you know he comes in here to lock the thread because we are going off topic. Not wanna spoil the fun, just warning.

I don't know. I don't think the gift system has really been talked about much other than the gifts will have meaning like Alistair's locket and such. I would assume it would matter on the gift.

Like if you got Fenris cover-up to hide his markings would equal rivalry and if you gave him something.. nicer it would equal friendship points.

That's a good question. Maybe it will depend on the gift, and hopefully there will be little cutscenes like in DAO when you offer a special gift.

All gifts are special (plot item) gifts.

Actually, what I'd like to see is them giving YOU something. Sorta like Alistair's rose and Zev's earring.

Edit: Fen wants the magisters head. On a silver platter. Too bad my Lady Hawke will probably just help him escape XD
