In the Gamespot Fenris vid.. Fenris (tho barely audible) says to FemHawke that he will find some way to her for helping him go after the magister....I wonder just what kind of "payment" he might suggest? or if you can do the "payment" suggesting...lol...

Some things are better left open to interpretation and imagination, imo.In DAO, the ending is open to any kind of interpretations. Like the GW and Zevran off to kill the last Crows and then... their adventures may continue. Or the Queen GW lives with Alistair for 10 years and then disappears, no one knows where and why.
Open endings are a good way to make up our own stories.
Exactly.

As for an "open ending"...well, that could mean so many things, really. Myself, I kinda like when endings are left a little messy (like life) and not all wrapped up tight. Some things are better left open to interpretation and imagination, imo.
I agree, unless it's a KOTOR2 situation where the ending is SO ambiguous that you don't even know if your character or companions are alive. That was so annoying.
I'm totally with you there. Not knowing if your pc lived or died is cryptic bordering on cruel…books that leave me hanging like that usually end up being thrown at the wall. Multiple times. <_<
Fengirl confession coming on…I find Fenris to be one of the most visually

Fengirl confession coming on…I find Fenris to be one of the most visuallystimulatingappealing video game characters ever created, a truly magnificent elven specimen. I can hardly wait to jump his pixel bones.![]()
You and probably every other person in this forum hun. Fenris will have to have excellent stamina..lol or be one sore and exhausted elf..

Or maybe there is a flood in the sewer and its reaching Gutter St.? Or some blood-mage put a spell on all the toast on Gutter St. causing excessive perversity? lol either way, the fact remains that Fenris lovin' is on every forum members mind at present...
@Erani I'm never leaving the house I have on Gutter St. esp not now with the new neighbor and his tent!

Oh, I am too... but I would not take advantage of repayment quite that way. It'd be more, "Umm... could you help me with [insert problem]?" followed up by, "Sorry to bother you again... but could you help me with [insert problem 2]?" Until poor Fenris is perma-stuck with Lady Hawke.
I dunno. *Flips back to RIFT and begins to beat head into desk* 2 HOURS?! Might as well go remake my flipping character on a new server...

MRC when you ordered thru Gamespot how did you arrange it that you could pick it up there??
Easy. I pre-ordered at the store. They gave me a recpeit (which is hidden somewhere safe so it doesn't get destroyed) that I have to hand over when I pick it up to prove my purchase (because I paid the full $60 so I can just pick it up after my classes. I would also bring it if I put $5 down on it so they know that the one copy they have lying there is reserved for me and ask me to pay the rest for it).
I imagine you could do so online as well-- you would probably get a email that you would need to print to show preorder (because I think one of my friends did it that way with a different game a couple years back) but I'm not sure because I don't know if you still can or know for sure if that friend preordered through Gamestop. I always do it there in the store.

Great, off for one morning, and I got 10 pages to catch up.
What have I miss now? Before I logged off we were talking about Gutter's property market...

I'm sure they think we're crazy.. but there is no denying that 931 pgs in what 2 months is a pretty epic feat!

I also pre-ordered from Gamestop, online, and even though I didn't pick in-store midnight pick up (I work, and won't have time to play tuesday, tuesday mail delivery is ok for me) I remember when you check out, you can choose this option. Also, I guess you can edit your order and select in-store?

Yeah I have emailed Gamestop to see if I should get it release day or not, or if I can pick it up in store.. I guess I'll find out.. at this point every single second waiting is painfully slow and torturous agony!
