Easy. I pre-ordered at the store. They gave me a recpeit (which is hidden somewhere safe so it doesn't get destroyed) that I have to hand over when I pick it up to prove my purchase (because I paid the full $60 so I can just pick it up after my classes. I would also bring it if I put $5 down on it so they know that the one copy they have lying there is reserved for me and ask me to pay the rest for it).

I imagine you could do so online as well-- you would probably get a email that you would need to print to show preorder (because I think one of my friends did it that way with a different game a couple years back) but I'm not sure because I don't know if you still can or know for sure if that friend preordered through Gamestop. I always do it there in the store.

I also pre-ordered from Gamestop, online, and even though I didn't pick in-store midnight pick up (I work, and won't have time to play tuesday, tuesday mail delivery is ok for me) I remember when you check out, you can choose this option. Also, I guess you can edit your order and select in-store? 

I'm not doing midnight. I have classes, and I can't take sick days unless I seriously need them (unless I conviently become sick the day before).

OT: I've been reading some comments in other threads about how much some people dislike Fenris' hair. Say what? Is it the colour, the style, plain envy? lol Because I don't get it. I think he has wonderful looking hair....*daydreams about running fingers through said locks*

Yeah I've seen the same, esp that they don't like it because it's too anime/ manga like.. which doesn't bother me at all I love that art style and am envious of how their hair is ALWAYS perfect!  But that's me..to each their own I guess.. but I imagine my FemHawke will both want to delicately stroke his hair and in fits of passion want to yank at it...*gets shivers of arousal*
For Andraste's sake why, oh why does Fenris have to be such an irresistible elf! <3
