That's pretty much what I saw. The "flirt" side of the conversation in the German mag was on Hawke's part, and I distinctly remember being able to flirt with some non-LI's in Origins and other games. Let's not forget Samara in ME2, either, who might have been interested at one time in her distant past, but not anymore (at least not for ME2). And let's be honest, The article is definitely not to be taken as truth since the "Fenris has a wife" thing started from a similar article, I believe.

Not to burst any bubbles, since we still don't know. I'm just a bit tired of it all, with 97% of the recent posts in this thread revolving around whether or not Fenris is bi, and much, MUCH less over his possible content as a person. It's kinda just "OMG MY GUY HAWKE CAN TOTALLY TAP DAT!!" or pining for such, and while I understand people have wishes and hopes, it's tiresome slogging through more, more, and more of the same to try and find tiny tidbits of interesting ideas/info/fan media.

It's buried somewhere in the m/m thread, all the details. But basically people were able to look at the demo files (I think only for the German demo) and see that Anders and Isabela both had named male and female kiss scripts, while Fenris and Merrill didn't have any gender specific kiss scripts. It could mean nothing because there have been scripts like that before like with Alistair, and that content ended up being cut.

At this point, I don't care about that. I've seen enough to know that there's things that can go for both Fenris and Anders. Now, if only one of them is bi, I hope it's Fenris.

And as for the thread, people talk about whatever they want, and they do talk about lot of different things on the elf. So, there's no problem.

hmmmm okay. I'll keep hoping. It's not that I don't like Fenris but Anders is just too great. I liked him a lot in Dragon Age Awakening and honestly, I don't want to date an elf again...

We all have our choice for bi romance, nothing wrong with that. I liked Anders a lot in Awakening too, but it's simply not possible for me to have him with my M!Hawke. Only Fenris. <3

I am not taking the German mag stuff as 100% proof that he is the bisexual option or not, but the context in which it was shown, by a person who presumably has played enough of the game to know for certain, does not discount him. Especially since we know he is a love interest, so there's enough leeway there for it not to be the same as hitting on Varric or Aveline.

I do wish they had revealed the bi male LI (Isabella was obvious from her role in Origins) just to quiet everyone (though I expect it would have gone for 20 pages or so of cheering or jeering) and be done with it, but sadly that's not the case.

But my point stands that we don't know for certain (once again, the spoiler source  is not absolutely reliable, which is spurring the debate) and that for those few of us who don't care either way, it's tiresome. To each their own, I know, but going to bed and waking up to sift through more than ten pages of the same thing hoping for another good snippet of something just grates me a little. Guess it's time to stop checking altogether and wait for the game.

Not to put a damper on things, but I've got this feeling that will be it. Even though you can hit on Fenris, I think he's the straight one and thus will reject you. The magazine said the options for s/s were expanded, and that is one way of expanding your options, by allowing Hawke to hit on more people regardless of their gender. But I do know if Anders is the bi one now, I'm calling Bioware on their spirit-gayification.

<_< I'd really really not like it if Fenris rejected my M!Hawke.
