Didn't Gaider say something along the lines that it absorbs damage/makes it easier to evade attacks or something along those lines? And (according to the vid) one of his skills (Lyrium Ghost) makes him difficult to track on the battlefield.
One of his other skills (can't read the name), has something to do with increasing his attack damage when he gets wounded.
I wanna know more about his specific ability tree. ><'

Yes. All of the females in BW games (with the exception of ME2) always dress according to character. It's refreshing.

On Fenris: I hope I can have him in my squad most of the time. And him and mage Hawke are going to be either bros or lovers. Either one will be fine.

Give Carver the Stonewall abillity. Seriously, the 50% defense increase might not seem as good as say ,Whirlwind or Scythe, but setting Carver's tactics to trigger Stonewall when he's surrounded by enemies in close combat greatly increases his survivability.

Fenris' Tevinter Fugitive specialization is either going to increase his DPS or give him a greater defense. Two Handers are there to put out raw DPS at the cost of defense, they need support from a mage or a rogue to buff them or debuff the enemy so that they can keep beating face.

The tactic I came up with is this:

Varric: Miasmic Flask a clump of enemies to stun them

Carver: Charge in an use Whirlwind to finish them off.

A late entry to the prompt: Smile.

Prompt: Smile

Fenris was familiar with the expression itself - a slight twitch of the lips, a wide grin, a mischievous smirk. It was a simple play of facial muscles, beautiful or terrible, depending on whose face it decorated. With his history, a smile was usually more than a single expression. The first one he remembered was the magister's: a small twitch, slight bend and a dimple. One could easily be fooled by it but if one looked longer, and Fenris had had all the time in the world to watch, shadows began seeping through it, showing the true intent behind the mockery of a smile.

He had been cautious of smiles ever since. When he escaped, he had witnessed them swept off the guards' faces by absolute horror and extreme agony as his fists phased through their bodies. Fenris felt no remorse, slaying these creatures whose only resemblance to human beings was their now broken inner organs.

In his case, smiles were not what they seemed to be: they hid secrets, ploys and plots. Some were harder to see through than others but eventually, if scrutinised enough, the mosaic always crumpled, revealing the rot inside. Some smiles hid prejudice, others greed or pure hatred. There was a hint of sadness and despair beneath some.

Fenris thought he had had smiles figured out entirely: they served as masks for something malicious and sorrowful, easily distracting those who let their guard down. They lured in the careless and the foolish, acting as tools of deception and destruction.

Whenever Fenris saw a smile, he was instantly on his toes - the ice he was skating on was either thin or illusionary. Sooner or later it would break, causing him to fall unless he was careful.

A smile was a mask, a decoy, a lure for those naive enough to bite it.

It was a lie. Everytime he saw someone's lips curve slightly, he saw the magister, his wealth or influence grinning behind the deceitful expression.

Her smile was the first one that left him puzzled. He had tried to break it apart, piece by piece, to find what it was in it that dumbfounded and fascinated him. He searched for the hints of deceit and shades that pointed at the magister's hand at play but none were to be found. The shadows in the corners of her smile were deeper but softer and when he watched their movements long enough, he was struck by a sudden bout of sadness. There was sorrow in her countenance but he could not find the source. Coming to the conclusion that Rhea's smile was just another kind of mask for different aspects of pain, he found his mind at ease.

For a time.

Until her lips began forming shadeless shapes, soft and inviting. Mesmerizing. When he studied their new forms he felt a familiar tug in his chest. These new kind of smiles were an enigma to him. When her lips again sought out one of these fascinating shapes, he understood he needed to know. It was directed at him, after all.

"Yes, Hawke?"

She tilted her head, questioningly, and some of her locks of deep crimson escaped from behind her ear. Her lips shifted, starting to form a word but he didn't want the smile to break.

"You were smiling." He continued. "Why?"

Her eyes flickered to his for a moment.

"Does one need a specific reason for smiling?"

He opened his lips but nothing came out. He didn't know.

"No. Don't answer that." She held a short pause. "I smiled because I was happy. Because I was alive. Because I finally understood I didn't escape Lothering - I survived it. As did mother and Carver, Aveline." A pause. "I could spend my time mourning Bethany, feeling sorry for Wesley. Believing they expected that off me. But there are other ways of remembering. Both of them. I smiled and laughed with my sister, loved her. And I still have all of that, her death didn't destroy any of it. I can still laugh, smile...love...it is not the same but no one said it needs to be. I smiled because I could. Because of Bethany I still can. Because it is free. You should try it - I'm sure you have a lovely smile."

He stared at Hawke whose lips melt into a smile once more.

"And because I would love to see it, Fenris."

There was the familiar tug again and he realised he had known smiles like Hawke's once. In the time before his branding, in the memories he used to have. The once illuminated hallways now engulfed in darkness. In that darkness he had trusted smiles, not expecting to see anything malicious in their corners. Hawke had learnt to smile again, had found strength to see light in her darkness.

It was not that much to ask - trust. That a smile could be just a smile. That not everyone was after him, not every smile hid a conspiracy.

Besides...

When it came to her, he believed it.

Hawke awoke the next morning and as like many didn't remember the night
before until a few minutes after waking. She suddenly remembered
Fenris's lips upons hers. She remembered how she moulded into his body,
she let go. It was her first kiss, not that she was a traditionalist,
but there was never anyone she desired. When she fist met Fenris, she
was unsure of him but over the months of watching him she began have
feelings for him. He never spoke about his previous ordeals, she did not
ask. He would tell her in turn, patience was a good virtue she was
told.

After his lips left hers, neither spoke, a mutual
understanding. It was all she could ask for, but she felt awkward,
unsure as how to continue. They sat for a while, her head on his
shoulders and then nothing.

Hawke sat up and realised she was still in the dress from the night before.

I must have fallen asleep

The thought of Fenris carrying her gave her another surge of embarrassment.
She quickly got dressed, but unlike her she left her hair down. He had
touched it, he had ran his fingers through it. Her hair was now a memory.

Hawke lightly ran downstairs and ran towards the dining room to grab food
before any others awoke, as she turned into the room her mothing and
sister sat with finished plates.

"Wow you're up early"

"Actually sister, it is quite the opposite" said Bethany

"It's past noon"

"Mother, are you serious?! Why did you not wake me?"

"You looked peaceful, and you deserved it, and by the way you looked lovely
in Bethany's old dress but dear it is not a night gown"

Bethany sniggered

"I'm off to get supplies" She walked to the front door and left.

Her mother then left the room, Hawke sat down and sighed with relief that
neither had known about the night before. The kiss had burned into her
memory.

I wonder where Fenris is now.....

She needed a walk and realised she had left her money pouch in her bedroom.
When she re-entered her room, she noticed the window was open. Hawke
scanned the room quickly.

No sign of anybody

She saw the note on the bed, and wandered over. On top of the letter was a small pink rose.
