Hey, since this is the Fenris Discussion thread, let's discuss Fenris. :D Making it to 1000 pages before release is pretty hollow (not to mention spammy) if the majority of the posts are about districts, cults, cocoons, tables, coming out from under tables, sitting under tables, retreating under tables... =/

Thank you.

I can't remember where I read it, but there was something about how perhaps the lyrium burned into Fenris may eventually cause severe side effects.. or drive him crazy kinda like how some templars get after excessive lyrium exposure...do you think that there is a possibility that somewhere down the line you might have to decide to help him get rid of the lyrium on his body?

mmm, I haven't heard anything like that. Does it come from the time we discuss about what type of lyrium was burned into his flesh and the long-time consequences?

I think it was on greywardens.com the article was from the 21st of Feb I think...

I just want to figure out how Fenris is so resilient to the effects of lyrium.

What? I meant it.

Coming in here and reading nothing but the endless not-funny in-joke gets old fast.

TDS, be nice please.

Well, Fenn, I doubt they'd use raw lyrium on him, it must be altered or something like that so that beside memorie loss, Fenris doesn't seem to show other important side effect... for now, at least.

well what haven't they talked about?

This thread has been around for over 900 pages and has held discussion after discussion while being a place that holds fanfic and fanart.

It's talked about almost everything related to him, and it'd be very spammy to pull up already answered questions.
If they feel like relaxin for this last stretch I say let them.

Edit: they started it! *Krogan pout*

This, especially when the same people try to shut down actual discussion in favor of... whatever this is.

*points to a few pages back and the Fenris/bisexuality discussion*

Maybe it was something the magister did, or maybe elves are more in tune with magic? The raw lyrium probably causes a lot of pain.

Then just let the thread rest for a while. Start a chatzy or something if you (general 'you') want to have rapidfire barely-on-topic discussion.

That's why I believe the magister didn't use raw lyrium. Now, what kind he had used is up to wonder.

Any actual question brought up has been answered and addressed. Which is what they do.
Not being happy when you dip your head in and everyone's just a lil off topic is kind of elitest in my opinion.

Being more in tune with magic will get you killed around raw lyrium. Mages will die outright from raw lyrium If I recall.

Yeah. Sorry, but I have to agree.

Agreed. I am kind of put off coming in here a lot because of the spammy discussions. Why feel the need to make 10 pages a day? It just puts people off coming in here, and also puts people off Fenris more, if you ask me.

I mean, I am having fun with the Fengurl trope and all, but it's no fun when all we do is sit around and try to come up with relevant stuff all the time. Just let a discussion have it's course. No need to keep something on the first page.

People can't keep up with the chat in here, I think.

We are getting more off topic by talking about what is off topic. Now please lets move.

We're all off topic!
Please, can someone have a serious topic that is interesting to talk about?
I've been waiting to be involved with a serious discussion and will not sleep until we get one!
How about we go back to the M/M conversation? Or anything else?

It's something that needs to be said though. Or maybe I'm just irritated because real discussion continuously gets shut down.

It must be something rare or expensive since in the Gamespot Fenris vid Ser Laidlaw said something about there being a heavy reference to the magister wanting him back because the lyrium was really expensive/rare...so I doubt likewise that its raw lyrium..

On the note of the m/m conversation you have seen the screenie right?

I was wondering if the golden heart meant they were already in a romance or not.

Of course there could only be one kind of heart but I hope not.

See what I mean? Why so desperate to discuss things that have been glossed over a zillion times? You don't need to make this a chat site. It is a forum, where you post. It's not a chat.

:(

I agree. It needs to be addressed. It's putting people off coming in here and discussing what they want to discuss. It isn't a club.

thus why Tranquil and Dwarves must handle the stuff. and even DWARVES end up with bad effects from lyrium.  There's no way Fenris has raw lyrium in him. he'd be dead. no doubt the immense value of his tattoos is in the fact that its a mix of lyrium that hasn't killed him or turned him into a jibbering fool.

I'm not sure that we can talk more about M/M topic without anything new for now. And as people know, I'm a strong believer in M/M.
If anyone has a new subject (or something we didn't talk much about coz we didn't have more "material" to debate), throw it in.
