How? probably the same way enchantments are put into weapons.

Magister: Quickly Sandal! The lyrium!

Sandal: Enchantment?

Magister: Yes my boy Enchantment!

Sandal: Enchantment!

Magister: It's alive! My elf is alive! And he does +30% Fire damage per second!

Now i have incredibly disturbing and slightly erotic images of Sandal and Fenris together. Thanks.

Hello folks. I hope this is where all the elfin goodness is discussed. I tried reading some of this thread from the beginning but  was so overwhelmed by the number of posts I wanted to stab out my eyeballs with a fork eventually had to give up and hit most recent.

I have really enjoyed reading some of the fan fiction snippets. For those of you with FFN accounts, if you post a link to any Fenris stories you would like reviews on, I would be happy to oblige.  ;)

Since I can't read through the entire thread, may I ask if anything is known as to how or why Fenris was branded with the lyrium by his master? Please forgive me if this has already been asked multiple times already. :)

Imo it's very similar to what people do to their slave before the American Civil War, people branded them with hot irons, like cattles. The bunus of Lyrium was he lost his memory so he had no where to run to should he decided to run away and succeed.

It's nice to know that Fenris equates Hawke's worth to 4 soverigns.

Unless that's silver or copper. :wizard:

So, he was possibly one of many slaves that had this done to him? Assuming previous ones were killed before the technique was perfected.

The memory loss is also very convenient for story purposes- he could be another lost prince/bastard son/insert plot twist here.

After duly paying Hawke for his services distracting the thugs, Fenris didn't have much change left.

Yeah, maybe those were his last four coppers; he is on the run!

Actually, I was quite worried about that...what if he already has a family and everything. What if he remembers he has a lost love waiting for him or something! DX That would be the worst "tragic loss" eeeeeever

Then again, how do you objectively quantify 15-20% of crazy, property-damaging sex in monetary terms?

Wait, I got it. They're at an inn. Not only is Fenris leaving money to annoy Hawke, but he's leaving Hawke to deal with the innkeeper wondering what happened to the structural integrity of his place of business.

It's a construction sidequest!

Find x planks of ancient plywood harvested from the guts of forest trolls (drop rate 1 for every 100 kills), glitchy headboard/bedframe building minigame activates once you collect the right amount. Fenris laughs madly in the background during the whole thing, the screen blurring with Hawke's rage the longer you take.

I guess we should be thankful there will probably never be a LI that takes cheap shots at the PC's dignity in such a manner. I can't help but think that might be fun though.

What? That's not a pillow.

Clearly they ate a falcon during their escapades.

He phased through the floor into some lady's bedroom downstairs, stared at her boobs and ran off.
