Hoorah!
I love talking like this.
Well, time to get back to the Fenris discussions.

We are much better than those who wallow without those who share our cause and intrests. It is a fault on yourself if you think we live our lives on this thread, for this is just whipped cream of humor and shared loves with good company and discussion.
If you find good company tiresome, then good day to you.

I have never understood that about the fan-fiction community, for lack of better term. What was so terrible in your lives that *this* becomes your escape?

Not all the fan fiction community is the same. Things that are pleasuable and amusing at the age of 14 just generally aren't as amusing when you're 30.

I'm definitely not a troll, a conflicting opinion or criticism doesn't always mean trolling in the real world.
The behavior of the people in this thread confuse me. I don't *understand* where the need to turn every male character into a *gay* one comes from, when there is no actual background precedent for it. I see this in a lot of female dominated fan fiction, and in a comic strip in this very thread.
Where exactly is it even hinted towards that Fenris is a homosexual, or Bi? As far as I'm aware of, the only openly bisexual character in Dragon Age 2 to this point is Isabella (her being referred to as this game's "easy" love interest.
That is where the creepy aspect comes from. I don't care who likes pretending their characters in their video games are real and imbuing them with more depth than was initially given them (because we've all only heard Fenris speak for a few minutes in demo footage at this point).
Let me put it another way, if I had a long running necrophilia thread based on let's say... dead Morrigan, would that offend you? Or at least raise some eye-brows? Or is it just me having some good fun with the whipped cream of my life?

I have a slightly different issue. I have a date this Friday. Do you play your LIs differently (or ignore them entirely) if you're seeing someone, married to someone or completely single? I'm fighting off a nagging feeling of being unfaithful to Fenris with a real human.

If you know whether or not for sure if Fenris is gay than feel free to tell us. Otherwise any art in here is speculation and for bragging. If that seems out of line than poo on you.
and for the future plz don't compare being gay to being a necrophiliac. That's just bad taste.

Reading comprehension would serve you well.
So now it becomes the burden of proof on myself to prove Fenris *isn't* gay? You don't understand how ridiculous that is?
My comparision was that of a niche fetish market, and rest assured - pretending fictional characters are gay is in fact a fetish. The source of my comparision has nothing to do with homosexuality, and you're just reading what you want into it in an attempt to strawman your way out of an actual explanation for your behavior.
Your the one who brought it up and had an issue with it, so I suppose the burdon of proof IS on you.Marionettetc wrote...
