Completely understandable.  But what's the point of coming into a thread where people obviously like him, stating you don't and give no reasoning?  I think that's trolling; someone who just comes in to offer no input to the discussion.  If someone doesn't like Fenris, they obviously have every right to say so, but it would be nice if they would say why as opposed to just saying it to possibly ruffle feathers.  Seems odd to me is all.

Oh, the snippet of Fenris Theme is really pretty, I've been looking forward to hearing it for a while now. Not quite eerie but sort of haunting; almost lilting. Peaceful; it seems a bit sorrowful to me, as well, definitely contemplative in tone [imo, anyway :3]. The sound-track [incl. his theme] is included in the Signature Edition, right? :] I'm so glad I'm getting the SE and I'm excited to hear the full track. ^^ So far, on the music side of things, I really like what's been done for DA2 - I'm curious to hear the themes for the other companions, if there are some.

The mansion thing is interesting - that it might be the one that belonged to the magister was my first thought, too. I like that it's pretty close, haha.

Personally when I see jerk characters I always get the impression of immaturity. I much prefer aloofness to being an ass. It diminishes the character severely in my eyes for them to be a jerk. 

That said if he is one I'll live. He just won't be as interesting and appealing to me as a sensible practical and aloof person would be.

And before anyone even takes this to itsother extreme no I don't want an LI that's overly polite and kneels at the PCs feet. I want an equal. Not someone with a superiority complex, not someone with an inferority complex.

All this talk about bi sexuall and f/f m/m romance I don.t know if I'll be romancing anyone in this game I would prefer a female maleromance but if it;s going to complicate the game I 'll just stick to myself

I'm in agreement with the idea of Fenris being somethng a 'tough lover'. Being strong for the most part, but letting the mask slip slightly every so often. I would love that. In mind of that, I am writing a prompt for Blight, which I will post in a couple of minutes when I'm finished.

Do we know the same Shinji? He wasn't a tough lover. He was gruff but he geninuenly cared about the party. He sacrificed himself to teach Ken that revenge wasn't the answer. He was stoic but a big teddy bear inside to everyone close to him not just the special female PC. He didn't see himself as above everyone and kept himself apart because he felt he failed. He was torn by guilt. Despite that he is still friends with all of SEES. Just the MPC was too busy chasing skirts to pay attention. 

He wasn't harsh to anyone. Just tried to keep himself distant because of his impending death.
