Sorry, they already had that with Zevran. They don't want to be using the same plot paths over and over, do they?.

Though I got to say, it would be nice to see a big, muscle-bound elf, bisexual or no. They can't all be skinny  punks with long, light-colred hair, right?.....Right?

How odd - my dogs name is Fenris, and such I have always called the Mabari in DA:origins for Fenris, now he turns up as a puny elfling in DA2.

I don't like the way this game is going, to much jRPG / mainstream influence.

But ofcourse, it's all to sell the game to the mainsteam audience. $$$.

Well, T9XKR3W, Mirrman70, leeboi2, Snugglepus, you all sound like you're in perfect mental health. Really, with all that insanity and hatred just boiling over for a computer game character.

I hope he is a pretty boy bi-sexual love interest.

I just had to comment on this latest bit of bile. I find his name delightful, as he is not puny, but lithe and not an elfling, but an Elf. Looking to be a very hot badass one, at that. Bring it, BioWare

I just expressed my feelings towards the overall design of this game. It seems like they changed the whole setting with jRPG influenced characters and an overall "dumbed" down gaming experience.

But hey, it's the way that the game industry is heading unfortunately

Yes... yes it does.

Both lost their memories and escaped the people who turned them into weapons.

I don't really care what the characters' preferences are really. I like for there to be great character development and story. I mean it's just a game and I don't see why anyone would wish death upon a character because they might be against what they like. If you don't want to be in a romance with them, then don't and move on. I collect as many as possible to get everything out of the game.

It seems like people feel that should they recruit him, he will alter you or make you love him. Anyway, I'll recruit him, do some sidequests and romance of the female characters that I like because that is my preference.

:/ Not a fan of his emo/anime hair. Let's hope he turns out to be a well-written character so I can just download a mod and get rid of that awful hairstyle.

I'm not one of those people who has to mold and shape the NPCs into my dream character, but I think his appearance just seems really out of place. I think it takes away from the dark gritty fantasy atmosphere of Dragon Age when your companion has bright shiny emo hair like something out of a bad anime. It just doesn't fit into the world of the game to me.

Yup, well said. He looks a bit too emo for liking too with the fringed white hair and what not.Or maybe the white hair has to do with lyrium. But yea if I want some cheesy looking anime character with an equally cheesy name in my rpg i would play Final Fantasy.



Then again it could be a refreshing change of pace idk, he might do well with the female audiences.

Hey, my characters were all duel wielding elven characters. It's not really that much of a stereotype XD
