I'd like to see what a quarian looks like under those helmets sometime, thought I don't want it to be Tali unless you romance her. It would be to cliche for me I think.

I, for one, DO want to see her face, and I'll be severely disappointed if we get given another camera angle stunt like we got in ME2. >:(

I wouldn't mind seeing her face, as I would like to know what quarians look like, and I lurves Tali.

Still, though, I can see why they want to keep the face a mystery.

Shepard got to see her face in ME2. Since I am Shepard, I should get to see her face.

I like to see Quarian's facial appearance too.  For Tali's sake, I hope she looks as authentic as she could be in regards to Quarian anatomy.  By that I meant that she can be completely unattractive by human standards but attractive by Quarian standards.  It be such a cop out if she ended up looking like a semi pretty human female.

I would rather have her keep the mask on. I feel like it adds more character, but I understand where other people are coming from.

Her face should fit her biology and "condition". I'm getting sick and tired of silly super model faces getting a hue shift in photochop as a sorry excuse of alien females.

I mean, there is a whole camp of people debating that in this thread.  Thing is, a lot of people disagree about what Quarian biology dictates about their appearence under the suits.  Since the game gives us no specifc details about their appearence, they could look like anything.

I'll agree that she most certainly shouldn't look completely human.  But any romanceable alien should be humanoid enough.  Avatar would have been a lot less successful if the Na'vi looked like Batarians.

Garrus wasnt very much attracted to femshep right? It was more of a kinship and trust relationship. If Tali was atracted to maleshep, it means there must be some semblance between humans and Quarians. Not sure... maybe its the same as above.

I dont know what to expect. We dont see female aliens on the games besides Asari (and they dont count right?). I cant even imagine how a female turian or krogan might look like.

It kinda remembers me when they've announced World of Warcraft and we didnt had idea how the hell a female troll, tauren or orc should be. Hell they even created female protoss character: http://starcraft.wik...m/wiki/Selendis

I posted this once in the Tali thread...my thoughts on the subject:

They could slowly lead the player troughout the Story to Talis face revelation with a few hinches that would form the players imagination of Talis face in the way Bioware wants it and needs it to please everyone with her appearance.

The best thing they could do is first add a few dialogues with specific statements about the Quarians looks...do they got hair, what skin color and so on. The player would be totaly cool with it. And without even noticing we would start to adjust our image of Talis face in our head in the direction Bioware wants to.

Second Step is to show us a Quarian without a helmet...a male one would be best. We would accept what we see because we already got the information from the dialogue and would see it now confirmed. The real Question in our head has always been how TALI looks like...not how the Quarians look like ;)
...so we would not really care how that quarian looks like because hes not important...not our beloved character.
So doing that Bioware would adjust the picture of Tali in our head even more in the direction they want it.

Step three would be best to show several unmasked quarians on one location...burning that quarian picture in our head.

Step four is to show us Talis face then in an emotional scene where we are bit distrected by drama. We would see Talis face with a strongly reduced chance of us being disappointed because Bioware slowly lead us to that moment.

This might lower the actual impact of revealing Talis face but it should rise the possibility of most players being pleased with it a lot!

This is perhaps the best way I've heard of implementing it in game.  Fans have already torn apart what we know to determine they do have lips, that they're mostly human, etc.  Subtle hints in game could prepare you for what's the same/different, etc.

However, I only want to see Tali's face if it works in the story.  I don't want to see her face in a romantic encounter.  I want to see her take her helmet off on the homeworld.  No homeworld, no reveal!

i think all quarians have glowing white eyes. If you look carefully into the mask you can see eyes and the shape of a nose.

I'm pretty sure that if we do see her face, she'll look fine. They base most of the faces off of the voice actors themselves (I'm sure Wrex's voice actor looks just like him) :P The voice actress for Tali is pretty good-looking herself.

Hey Ulzeraj -same guy from ther thread about relativity.

Personally I don't think Bioware should reveal the face of any quarian in any mass effect game. The reasons why i believe this is partially because there are a lot of people out there (Talimancers etc) who could be disappointed and mad if the look is not what they wanted. Also, I think the look of the quarians is in fact best left to the player's imagination, for there are so many people who have so many ideas about the look, the best solution is in fact to leave it be. Personally, if their look was revealed it would take away one of the biggest mysteries in the franchise for me.

But as I said, every player has their own idea of what quarians look like, so it is better not to give them a specific look therefore everyone is happy.

I'm also looking forward to the scooby-doo themed jokes about removing her helm.

This artist did some version of what they thought the female aliens might look like...

The quarian one strikes me as slightly NSFW. It's not porn, and it's blocked out, but it's probably not the sort of thing you want the sys admin to see you looking at.

To be serious they cant show her face.

Quarians have no chins.. AT ALL.

Also they have a hard tough outerskin.
Grunt comments how soft humans are with there spinal cord only mm below the skin, that turians are soft too... quarians.. not so much.

I think she is reptillian...
Scales and no chin= something like this

When he says that I assumed he was referring to their suits giving them more protection

Looks like something H.R. Geiger would come up with.  I kinda like it, tons better than all of those shoddy human clones you see going around.

Wrong. Some people don't and probably never will.
