That would fit in that helmet. And probably explain Shepard's expression.Uszi wrote...

The quarian one strikes me as slightly NSFW. It's not porn, and it's blocked out, but it's probably not the sort of thing you want the sys admin to see you looking at.

Would the amount of Tali you see depend on item collection rate and completion time?Praetor Shepard wrote...
maybe revealing Tali can be a pleasant surprise like this reveal was back in the day.

btw, I was pissed when I found every item in Metroid Other M and all I got was "congratulations"

Looks like something H.R. Geiger would come up with. I kinda like it, tons better than all of those shoddy human clones you see going around.
My thoughts exactly. I want something that looks more alien. Maybe a little sexier than that Quarian, but I hope they aren't exactly like humans.

In fact, Sometimes you see some opacity on her screen, which makes you think she kinda has a basic human shaped head but with more vertical shaped eyes and a violet tint. If it was up to me, I would place some ornaments as a skin texture (just like her armor). She can't be completely human due to the rest of her body (legs + toes). Though, it should be kept organic due to the "disease" they suffer with...
For me personally: The only way to show her face should be...
1) in a romance in a dark corner, with a shadow covering most of her face, showing the area around her mouth with a smile, and violet eyes. In this case, you have the idea of a beautiful species, seeing the texturing of her skin and without breaking the complete mystery around it.
2) Or, maybe she dies, and you see a piece of her face through a crack of her helmet, where it is broken. Again, keeping it very subtle...
So, fans will be amazed and thankful, and none will be dissapointed by Tali herself! This will keep people talking, sharing, caring,...

I dunno there's not a lot that can be done with Quarians either. We know facially they resemble humans almost exactly since they have two eyes, similair noses, and mouths like our own. Now overall head structure is probably a bit different being more narrow. Their skin color is also probably going to be fairly pale since they don't get any light and it reinforces the idea of them being weak in terms of immune system. However Quarians are supposed to have thicker/tougher skin then humans so I imagine it's a bit scaley looking almost. Remember Quarians technically are more like Turians. I'm guessing Quarians have hair since they are suppose to be like mammals. I also imagine they have semi-luminscent eyes since we can see them thru their visors.

As said before, maybe Bioware can avoid this problem by showing some quarians without their suits, but not Tali herself.

This is about tali's face more than what quarians look like right? That's what the talimancers want in the end. Showing some other quarian probably won't sate that lust.

I honestly hope Bioware aren't that evil.
On a more serious note I am in two minds:
No as it's an enjoyable mystery as you can use your imagination.
Yes as I am naturally curious.
The book 'Ascension' mentions vague details about quarian's, it says that they have teeth, cheekbones, "what passes for a Quarian version of an ear" as well as eyelids.

I honestly don't feel like a romance with a faceless mystery works in a visual medium. The audience not getting to see her face when Shep does detaches us from the character. He knows something we don't know, and it alienates us from him. Imagine if we'd been kept outside when Shep had the first conversation with Sovereign. And after that you have to make decisions based on information that's only vaguely alluded to.
Now, we -have- to rely on our imagination. We have to assume that Shep thinks Taliface is cute enough that he didn't instinctively recoil when the helmet came off.
I honestly feel like if they weren't going to reveal her face, they never should have done a romance plot. Which is kinda ironic, because I'm also irked that they didn't do more to differentiate Tali's pre-romance femshep dialogue from maleshep, because I totally got the impression she was crushing on my femshep, and I'm annoyed that that ended so abruptly.
Anyway, I'm betting no on Taliface. I'm -hoping- no on Taliface, at this point, unless they patch an unveiling into ME2. ;p

I'll renounce happily to the possibility of see her face if in exhange BW assures us that she'll be in ME3 as squadmade NOW. I'm curious, but Shepard is the only one who have to know her face and he deserves the chance to see it as more as possible ^__^
Seems like kind of a bad deal since she's pretty much garuanteed to return.
Unless you killed her.

But to the point at hand, I think that while Tali is certainly a nice and sweet enough character, the fandom around her grew mostly because of the fact that she's the ultimate Anon, an "Insert the Pic of Your Dream Girl" kind of gimmick, which unsurprisingly brings up much interest in her character, because you can imagine the perfect girl for yourself. So from that point of view revealing her face would certainly ruin her image in the eyes of many of her fans.
However, for those people, myself included, who are just curious about the mystery of quarians' appearance and pursued Tali's romance just for that sake, a trick like that camera thing in her romance scene was just annoying and looked more like a cheap excuse. Personally, I was dissapointed and kinda lost interest in Tali's character whatsoever, mostly because I felt cheated. So from my point of view and some other people I'm sure, finally revealing her face in ME3 would satisfy our curiosity and perhaps sparkle new interest in her. I think it would be best served somewhere at the end of ME3, maybe on the liberated quarian homeworld and maybe only if she's your LI, so that you have to work for the satisfaction of the revelation. Although I'm not holding my breath for that, seeing how dissapointingly it went in ME2.
