Left Nostril - A vertical scar from breaking my nose when I was six years old. Someone hit me in the face with a sled.

Right Eyebrow - A horizontal scar from Ollie-ing into my own face with a skateboard.

Right Pinky Finger - A scar around my finger from the time a jack-knife closed on it and sliced through to the bone.

Right Middle Finger - A jagged scar from when I fell from a bunk-bed, reached for the frame, and grabbed a piece of jutting metal with a razor edge.

Abdomen - Three scars around my naval from when I had my appendix removed.

Right Elbow - A road-rash scar from the time I was skateboarding down a hill, fell, broke my wrist, and slid the whole way down on my arm.

Top of Head - I ran head-first into the corner of a wooden kitchen chair.

... Not to mention emotional scarring from my youth.

Hey jack u just reminded me of my own appensitis in which i had my appendix removed when I was 16.

I have only had four, three of which are faded but still visable and the fourth is all but gone.

Forehead - Headbutted the chain of a swing when I was 4. Left a nice scar for about a year or two. Gone

Right Shin - fell down an escalator.... one that was going up. Faded and white now.

Left Palm - Shoved a ruler with those metal edges into my desk in fourth grade. Needless to say it dug in kinda deep. Color returned but left the wound.

Right Index Finger - Parrying a sabre with your off hand will tend to leave a mark. Most recent and clearly visable.

1)Right cheeck, (half an inch long, faintly visible dip) Day after new years eve. Very powerful homemade mini bomb that I strapped to an old hard plastic toy of mine(which I hated). Ran away, but not far enough. Bomb exploded, sending a sharp piece of plastic straight to my cheek. Opened a hole into my mouth.

2)Right upper arm(1 inch long, sword tip shaped). A morron in school about 4 years ago. Heated the blade on the knife of a Swiss Army Knife and stuck the flat side to my arm. Still looks like the day I peeled the scab off.

3)Right palm(Small white patch that has a similar shape on the back of my hand directly above).Had the bad luck of falling off of my bike outside my school close to a building under renovation(I suppose thats where it came from?), and slamming my flat hand onto a small upwards nail that penetrated my hand. eugh still hurts to think of it.

4)Left cheek, (1 and a half inch). A jack ass in 6th grade punched me and ripped the skin at my cheek bone(right under my eye). Don't worry though I won the fight just to clarify Image IPB

Thats about it.

1. Left eyebrow, diagonal, pointing downwards. I got it from walking into the edge of a pub sign when I was only half awake.

2. Left toenail - you can't see the scar, but the toenail is narrow from when I severely damaged my toe while purposefully swamping a canoe for a Boy Scout merit badge - my toenail got caught on a rivet and was torn out when two of us tipped the canoe from the inside. The infection from having a gaping wound in the middle of a muddy midwestern lake left my toe in a ruin and I'm lucky that I still have a toenail.

3. Small divit in the middle of my forehead from chickenpox when I was a wee lad.

4. Burns on the back of my left hand from when my then-girlfriend was spooked by popping grease while frying bacon and accidentally knocked the pan so that the hot grease got on my sleeve and hand.

5. Don't know if this counts, but my pupils are always different sizes due to minor optic nerve damage to my right optic nerve from a dangerous and long-lasting fever when I was an infant.

No scars, despite numerous injuries, among other things 8 punches to the face. No scar or mark at all.

My body tends to heal almost any injury 100%.

Hmmm... Let's see:

I have a small scar at the palm of my left hand, between my middle and ring fingers. I have another scar on top of my thumb on the same hand and I have another, slightly longer scar between my ring and pinky fingers on my right hand. I was very reckless when I wanted to carve things with a knife when I was younger. :-)

I have a faint scar in the crook of my right elbow that looks like gills - I got that one from the oven.

I have a dint at the top of the bridge of my nose - can't remember how I got that one.

I have a thin scar that goes from a bit below my collarbone to about two inches above the bottom half of my ribcage, between my breasts - again, no idea how that one happened.

My knees are scarred from falling over as a kid and needing stitches (both at separate times).

And finally, the scar I will probably never be able to get rid of, I have a scar about halfway down my right forearm where a girl from my high-school decided to give me a "smiley". It's basically a burn from the metal part of a lighter, but as far as I know they're not supposed to scar. I don't think the girl intended to burn me so badly, but I have a higher pain tolerance than the other girls at my school (read: I don't scream or cry at the slightest hint of pain) but when I hadn't shown anything more than discomfort after about ten seconds she figured out that I wasn't going to give in. Unfortunately, the burn got infected (that's what I get from hiding it from my mother) and took  months to heal. I now have this ugly, almost circular, weirdly lumpy scar that brings up lots of awkward questions.

Typical, the only scar I hate is the one I'm going to have for the rest of my life. <_<

Stitches:
- 11 right under the tip of my chin: cycling + curiosity is a bad combo. What happens if I turn the front wheel sideways all of a sudden? (yes, I was just a kid)
- 3 next to left eyebrow: don't remember when or where I got them.
- 2 in the top of forehead: flew head first into a door frame.
- 4 in the back of my head: ice-hockey, fell and hit my head on the ice.
- 7 in right elbow: fell awkwardly while cycling as a kid. Fractured really bad, after it was operated I had to lie in a hospital bed for about five weeks while some kind of weight thing was attached into the elbow.
- 7 in left wrist: skateboarding. It's been operated twice but can't be repaired. The prognosis is that when I'm 50 or 60, the wrist won't move at all. :( At least the fingers should work just fine.
- 7 in left hip: in the wrist surgery the surgeon took a bit of bone from the hip and inserted it into the wrist.

scars? well, about 20 years of skateboarding has left its mark, I think. Swollen (cartilage bumps) and scarred elbows, bumpy and scarred shins + plus the occasional scars on hips/lower back. And my ankles are like noodle of course...

I have a scar over my left eye brow from when I ran into a girl when I was younger. She had quite a large overbite problem and chowed down on my forehead.  So I got the scar and she does't have the overbite anymore.

I have a circular scar on may right foot where I had a cricket stump stuck in it. Finally large scar across my right knee from when I slipped on some ice and tore it open to the bone

I don't know if you are the only one, but I'm fairly certain you are one of only a few who would admit to it.

Decorative scarring has its adherents around the world who would happily admit this. I think it's folks who scar themselves for other reasons who wouldn't admit it.

Edit: Went back and re-read PandaThief's post. Hmm. I hope you scar yourself for decoration and not to avoid dealing with other important issues.

my scars are lame.

1.) a thin line on my right knee I got from my brother when we used to rough house when we were tykes.

2.) one night while making dinner i tipped a very, very hot pan of water off of the stove and onto my hand. burned quite a bit of skin off and hurt like heck. Now I have a big pale spot on the back of my hand where the new skin grew back. Looks weird, especially since the rest of my body is tan.

Well, sure why not

The only real noticeable scar I have is on my upper lip on the left side from where I got hit in the face with a Tennis racket, I usually grow a scraggly beard to cover it up but clean shaven it is a bit noticeable. Also if you look at my lip it is noticeable.

A couple other minor ones is an oven burn on my left arm and a round shaped scar on my left knee that I got when I fell on a rock that split it open.
