To my knowledge DA:UE is one Disc on PS3? My question is does it install the Origins and all the DLC's in one or can you choose which DLC's to install? I ask because of if I do get UE I want to uninstall Warden's Keep so in Awakenings the sentinel, etc. will work properly.

Yes it is one disc unlike the PC and Xbox versions (Blu-ray FTW). And yes you can choose which DLC's to install at your leisure.

I should know, I own it. ;)

I also have a question, does the dlc come on the disk itself or does it just allow you to download it from online for free?

All right there on the disc itself. As I said, it's Blu-Ray. When you insert the disc, 2 icons will pop up. The top one jumps you into the game. The second one gives you a list of all DLC on the disc. And you pick and choose which ones to install and when. Go down the list if you want, go up the list from the bottom if you want. Click random ones in no particular order. It doesn't matter.

On the PC and Xbox versions, not being the awesome all powerful Blu-Ray format, there's 2 discs, one is the base game, the other is Awakening and all DLC. Not so on PS3, being Blu-Ray format with over 25gigs of space on one disc, all of it is on one single disc, period.

Sure no problemo (steal a line from my god daughter).

You should be aware however, the the European version has a pressing error in that the Return to Ostagar selection on the list which should be Return to Ostagar is actually a duplicate file of The Stone Prisoner. For this error you will have to contact EA. EA Games, not EA Sports mind you. EA Sports can't help you unless they started mixing Madden with Dragon Age all of a sudden, ruining the beautiful game of football forever. Wouldn't put it past them of course....anyway....EA Games will know of the issue by now and should add RTO to your download list to allow you to download it for free. They'll need your PSN ID though.

Hi there. I have another question regarding the Ulimate Edition:

Is the DLC in any way bound to my PSN account?
and
Do I need this Bioware Social account to access the DLC and is it bound to my Bioware social account?

I "avoided" buying the DLC because I am kinda "old school", maybe just "old" ;) and don't like digital stuff to be bound to accounts etc. Just not my kind of thing. Also I have to move every two weeks to a different location (due to my job) and at one place I don't have an internet access (but a ps3 for entertainment) which kinda gives me trouble when I have to download stuff etc.
So I wanted to buy the Ultimate Edition to get to play the DLC because its not a "voucher thing" like with Borderlands which "forced" me to continue to play the original game without any DLC.

*edit*

Oh, and with Ostagar missing: is there any chance that new editions will be on the market which will no longer have this problem?

From what I've seen, no it's not bound to any account at all. You could install it all without your PS3 being connected to the internet at all even.

The RTO problem is ONLY on the European version, it is NOT present on the US version. I have the US version and I can confirm that RTO is on there. It's only the European version effected by this, some disc pressing error.

Now. For the European version, I'm not sure if there will ever be any new editions that don't have the problem. It's highly unlikely though.

Thanks for the reply. As I'm from Europe I should think about importing the US Version then.

Well let me remind you that you can contact EA and they will give you download code so you can download it from PSN for free. And on consoles there is no authorization and you don't have to be online in order to play it (I should know, I got the Stone Prisoner via the code on the standard edition and was able to play it offline just fine, merely avoiding the patch cause I wanted to use the level up glitch :P). I know it's not really an option in your case, but I thought I'd remind you of that.

Good luck with importing a US version. I know import sites can be a hassle and a half.
