I've heard that Dragon Age 2 will be the dark second chapter darker - grittier - sexier, and I'm wondering what this means.

Are they talking about changes in the environmental art? The story and characters?

Oh good. We're having this discussion again. I really didn't get enough of the, "What does dark and gritty mean?" before Origins shipped.
