I hated flicking through the songs trying to find the one i wanted and it played only a fraction of the soundtrack. Maybe a tiny menu could pop up like the one you see on a ipod to select your song? Additional suggestions welcome. Being to play the entire sountrack would be nice and creating your own playlists as well.

I'd really like to just be able to add my own music to it.

If you are playing on the Xbox 360, just purchase the ME 1 and 2 soundtracks and burn them to disc(s). Put the disc(s) in the Xbox tray and add them to you library. When you are playing, just select the songs to play under the Xbox quick guide by pressing the (X) in the middle of the remote and selecting music. (I love the XBox because you can play custom soundtracks during most games.)
I can't confirm this, but it may be possible to use itunes or windows media center while playing on the pc. Try setting the game to "windowed" instead of "full screen." Then just start playing your custom playlist in one of these programs. The problem with doing this is that any music currently playing in the game will interfere with the music you are playing; the Xbox system automatically prevents in game music from interfering with your playlist.

hadn't thought of that, but still it's a suggestion for the sound system in the game

I just wish he could "dance" in his room to music and if he practiced enough he'd actually get better, and then that would effect his interactions with other characters later on in the game.

This is something i wished for when playing ME2 as well! I really loved how they included it in the first place - but a small pop up menu to pick from a good selection would have made it AWESOME - also the ability to send it through the Normandy PA system would have been a sweet bonus too! Lets hope they cater to the music nerds in ME3.
Also, Shepard needs a space guitar and a space amp - so he can go space busking

This just keeps getting sweeter! I think Jack would be good on bass, shes got the 'band' look down as is. So Thrash Effect is:
Shepard: Vocals and guitar
Wrex: Drums
Garrus: Lead guitar
Jack: Bass
Jacob: Turntables and samples
Mordin: Sound engineer
Hot babes: Sexy stuff

I loved the music player and how it brought back the songs from ME1. In ME3, there should be the entire ME1 and ME2 soundtrack, where you can put it on shuffle or choose the song of your liking. That'd be boss.
