Samara: I wish to speak with you, Thane.
Th: Of course.
Sa: You say that you are tool weilded by a master when you kill.
Th: That is correct.
Sa: But you could always turn away. To hear the plea of your victim.
Th: So I would have if I had made the choice to kill the person. But I hadn't and alas, the person's life is forfeit as a result.
Sa: The body you possess is controled by your mind at all times, Thane. You choose to be a tool and so you choose to kill whomever the people who hire you to kill.
Th: You speak as if you have not murdered.
Sa: I have taken lives of thousands. But never an innocent.
Th: I have taken lives of dozens. And innocense is subjective. A murderer could surender and so keep his life, while a proud theif would die for his crime, though they are different in the severity of crimes.
Sa: I will not spare the lives of those who kill innocents. This you know, Thane. And you know that you are in danger while I am here.
Th: ... I have been disconnected for too long, Samara. There are things I cannot take the credit or balme for in my life because of that.
Sa: Everything you do is your own, drell. All that changes is the way you choose to justify it.
Challenge: Atheyta and Liara.
