The quest starts in Umar Hills, where the villagers are being killed by wolves.


so i started the quest where you have to kill the evil shade quy, but at the second level of the temple ruins where you need to get the three pieces of a sun thing to open a door i seem to have done something wrong.

i have two pieces of the sun thing, one from the statue that asks about the rituals, and also one from Anuma  or whatever her name is, the bones that you pick up. the third piece i read ,somewhere, you get from killing a shadow behind the puzzle floor that you have to walk across the right letters, but nothing happened when he died.

sssooooooo, what do i do.
am i totallly wrong about this or do i need to just look around a bit more for it?
and if this is way too vague im sorry, i can post more details if you need it

i looked in all the containers and all over the floor by the area and i couldnt find anything, so if i had it i dont think i dropped it, and i dont have any save points close enough that would be practical to go back to,

It's not on the shade itself, it's in the room where the shade was originally. Do you have ToB installed? (if yes, you can just press Tab to highlight all containers)

You can't get to the container unless you pick up/kill the shade first. (It's in the way)

Actually you don't have to kill the shade.  You can go in, let him beat on you, get the item, and then go invisible (with a potion) to make him leave you alone.  I think you can even open the container while you are invisible, even though technically you shouldn't be able to reach past the shade (but you can anyway).  Not sure as I haven't done this in awhile, but I seem to recall doing it this way.
