Some of you may be familiar with my original remix of "Uncharted Worlds" from ME1 ( ).  I've been working on a new one in my spare time and have finally finished it.  It's a remix of the "Suicide Mission" song that plays...during the suicide mission.

I tried to stay true to the Mass Effect "feel" while giving it some of my own flare.  Enjoy!

You should consider trying an upload to ocremix.org, there's only a couple ME related mixes available there at the moment, so might as well see what they think of your work :-) Good synth lines, though I'm not sure how I felt about the trumpets at 0:54. Still, nice work!

Very nice work. Love the arrangement, but I think it needs a tad bit of production work. (Lots of reverb throughout, but some textures lack reverb, just found it a bit jarring) My best constructive criticism here is to give the main bassline a bit more of a full/wide sound. It seemed a bit weak and feel short underneath the other music at the tail end. Love the grainy-electro texture on the bass, though.

These were minor issues to my ears, though! Great work! That said, the fan creation forum needs some fan-made mass effect based music in a thread. This would be a great place to start.

Perhaps, if demand is high enough.  Might take me a little while 'cause Ihave a lot of other projects goin' on at the moment.  I'll take any request though, feel free to toss some my way!

Uhg, don't get me started on the low-end.  I had a good setup once upon a time but I just recently moved and haven't had time to setup any bass traps & acoustic foam so my mix environment is pretty bad as you can imagine.  Add to that the dry wall and hardwood floors and this room is a nightmare to mix in.  I had to reference the mix 6-7 times on my car stereo to get the low end jiving (pardon the pun) decently.

However, the poor bass toward the end sounds more like a compression issue to me cause it kicks in harder when the lead synth comes in which may have caused the low-end to attenuate slightly.  I can barely tell on this end LoL.  I may amend the mix once I fix the room.  Anyhoo I think I did a good job considering, but yeah this was the most balanced mix I could achieve at this point in time.  Thanks for the feedback, it sounds like you know what you're talking about.

If you could remix the Noveria song from the ME1 soundtrack that would be great!

I'm actually considering this.  I always loved the Noveria track.
