The Acient Elven Boots, where are they?

Is it a random drop item?

Can it be bought at a vendor?

Is my game bugged?(Lothering chantry cabinet)

Prima says nothing about it.(Location wise)

I'm irratated. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank U!

It's supposed to be in the Cabinet in Lothering, but they've never been there for me. So, no clue.

You may be able to spawn them by console command if you look it up in the toolset

I'm on ps3 version and they have been inside the locked cabinet in the chantry everytime i've played.

On the PC version, they have never been in there

how do you get that cabinet key ? i ve tryed to pick pocket everyone in the chantry and no one had the key in my prima guide it says Ser Bryant will give you 20 silver and the cabinet key but does nt say anything else i ve been to that place maybe 4 times and he never gave me that key , am i doing somehting wrong ? or do i need to do something special ?

I'm on PC as well..and never a single set of Boots have I found.

PC here too, never ever found them, in Lothering or anywhere else.

So it seems the PC version doesn't have it placed correctly...while the others may..odd

Or, the PC version has the boots hidden in a totally different location. Although during all my plays, I've never found them at all, which leads me to believe they're actually not in the game.

Yea, same here...Unless there is somewhere I haven't looked..but I've scoured every corner so far on this play through..and none yet.

i ve seen a couples of response but none regarding the cabinet key , how do i get it ?

The Key is from talking to Ser Bryant..going through the dialogue telling him your a grey warden and asking if he can offer you any help.

Yeah my buddy has 360 version and he says they have always been in the Chantrey in Lothering. I have PC version and they have never been there 6 runs through there. I imagine it will be in an up coming and desperately needed PC patch. (i say desperate because the last patch made me have to re install the game) Ah well here's to hoping the Devs are active readers.

BTW anyone know if the 1.01a patch fixes this or no? I don't have it installed anymore since it made the game not launch.

I'm using 1.01a and no, there's no boots there.

thx much i ll try that in my next game since lothering is gone now , i ll tell a RL friend he called me last night about that and i told him i did nt even know he was giving a key
