Oh yeah, forgot to say thanks for looking into it. Even though it's your duty, thrall. Thanks

Well, thats refreshing..Thanks for looking into the nonexistant boot dilemma.

Well yeah, and hopefully it will get a small hotfix soon or baked into a regular patch. In the meantime, is there any way through the console you can give yourself these boots?

I suppose this means I can stop looking for the boots for now.

So there's no point in trying to get the Ancient Elvish Armor set bonus legitimately now, then? Darn. To the console!

If you find out which console command give them to you, please share it

I did not find the unique id for the boots, but I did find out they are hidden in "bed110id_sarcophagus", one of the sarcophagi, I'm assuming, in the Brecilian ruins, where you find the Lady of the Forest.
Anyone with a save near there and a character of at least lockpick 4 willing to check that place out? I would but my computer is already slow enough atm that a simple checking would turn into 5 hours of loading and stuttering.

I've checked all sarophaguses there more than one time in fact, I've never found them in there as I assumed I would.

I've been over the ruins twice looking for an entirely different thing, with tab pressed down (trying to find that other thing). I can assure you that the boots aren't there. I found the gloves and the armor, but never the boots (and the helmet I managed to not get from the hermit - he stopped talking to me).

I suppose if they were that easy to find with the toolset they would have already been found that way. I'll keep looking on my end for a way to add them to the inventory via console, if I find out I'll be sure to post it.

First time in Lothering cabinet was a heal pot. Second time, a heal pot and the boots.
I'm on PC.
If I recall correctly (and I may not), it was the chestpiece in the sarcophagus in the forest ruins.

I can't really confirm wheter or not they're supposed to be in Loithering. I just know that I never saw them there in any way, shape or form. I could've just missed them, of course, but I'm usually pretty thourough. Not checking something as obvious as a cabinet sounds.. strange. D:

The Sarcophagus is where I got the Chest armor, Helmet is from the Hermits and i got the gloves in the Reaver place in a chest. In 12 run throughs on the 360 version the boots have always been in lothering Cabinet, on PC in 13 attempts it has been Heal potions in various ammounts and either a blank vellum, metal shard, lesser injury kit, or mushroom.

It's a pity, too. That helmet is the only one of it's kind I've seen and it looks great.

I'm using 1.01a and no, there's no boots there.
Where are you guys getting this 1.01a patch. Is not even out yet!
Patch that IS out is 1.01 and the other is a HOT FIX for Daggers I believe, NO 1.01a

Well, it downloads as 1.01a.exe so I only assumed, then I shall reconsider this and assume they indeed just made a typo when they released it. I certainly trust you over any BioWare employee that makes patches, they know nothing.

I've found the boots twice in the ruined temple for Sacred Ashes?
Er, maybe not. Must be confusing them with the antivian boots for Zev. I knew there were some boots in that section, my bad.

Yeah *sigh* I wonder whatever happened to that BioWare guy who was going to look into it. He's probably wandering Ferelden in search of them blasted shoes... pardon... boots. I bet you the Werewolves knows where they are, but Maker only knows why they're not talking, I was nice to them.
