Hey guys,
With the announcement of Mass Effect 3, I wanted to ask if an idea I've had for a long time would be viable:
a Mass Effect universe mock newspaper/news site. ("The Citadel Times" or "Galactic Inquirer" or "Azure Weekly" or something)
In terms of style of content, it would be similar to the news snippets of the Cerberus Network you get on the main
menu of ME2 or the news bulletins you hear on Omega and Illium.
Generally, main plotlines of the ME games would only be touched upon tangentially, also because of the fact that
the Shepard experience is different for everyone.

The scale would be rather small, but could be expanded should more content be available.
During the course of the wait for ME3, this could provide fanfiction writers (of whom there are many very very talented ones! eg, Mock Effect, that is the funniest s**t ever lol), artists and ME enthusiasts in general the chance to create an "expanded universe" (cfr. Star Wars), and give readers a fun read too. We can also integrate previously released fanfiction in it, the concept is still pretty open to ideas.

Maybe even Bioware will pick up some stuff that's gonna be on there.

Do you guys think that this would be an interesting project to undertake?
