Again, if you say so.

if you have the problem, let's try to fix it Quaxo... if not, then stop wasting my time by telling people that it won't work because you've got no room to talk

I never said it wouldn't work, I said it hasn't worked for everyone. But it's not such a serious issue that there needs to be 50 threads about it all with the same solution that doesn't work for everyone anyway. A simple restart of the game every 45 minutes to an hour is all it needs. Not that hard to do until it gets patched. Nothing technical about that. No reason to make people think there's an issue with their system.

No unfortunately I deleted all but 2 (just so happens both are right there at the same spot). Up to this point in the game everything ran very smooth with very little loading times (even had close to 15 saves being an rpg - save often type game.

the point I'm making is that there may not be a patch for a while if there's enough empirical data to suggest that it's related to core processing rather than a true memory leak... and like I said... show me where someone who's actually tried it has sat down and troubleshot it with me and failed to resolve...

As a matter of fact this all started happening AS I was installing both Warden's keep and Stone Prisoner. Both are saying installed atm.

I'm wondering if it's a broken save due to the way it launches the quest for the DLC. I hate to ask you to try it, but maybe start a new character and run through it again? *winces* harsh I know but I'm beginning to think it's a corrupt save

Its np at all. Thank you very much for all the help. Will reset settings (back to medium, sound back on) and run back through, this time starting the game with installed content. If I run into the same problem I'll report it.

Thanks again for your patience and persistence!

sure... I suspect it's as I said (saw something about a corrupted save posted by one of the Bioware QA guys earlier) and that started bugging me about this problem... but tossing play time down the tube is my fix of last resort

Let x = time spent loading

Let y = time spent playing

x=10y

Is one of the processors that have been found to have a fix the: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200? Because if so, I'd like to play some dragon age, instead of loading some dragon age. I literally wait 10-15 minutes between loading screens on every load. I play for 2 minutes, load for 10. Play for 30 seconds, load for 10, etc, etc.
