Talk about story telling. I'm not the kind of person who plays games, reads books, or watches movies more than once in a short period of time. I've already beaten Dragon Age twice and am still in shock from the sheer epicness.
My favorite origin was probably the Human Noble, and I really liked that you guys didn't funnel our choices. There is so much room for freedom depending on how you want the story to end and what your character does afterwards.
I went with marrying anora and taking the throne, leaving Allistair to rebuild the Grey Wardens while I helped rebuild Ferelden. But within the storyline there is room for characters who want to end up a follower, leader, or martyr, and everything in between.
Most games I play and feel like I've been swindled out of 60$. With Dragon Age, however, I feel like a con man, having cheated bioware into selling it to me for so low a price.
Bioware has, with Dragon Age, done what no other form of story telling has effectively accomplished. Ever.
I find myself wondering not what will happen next, but what could happen next.
Bioware; I Salute You!
