Okay, Genisys has been so kind to create an system to award RP points to players....now it has been working perfectly fine till recently....suddenly it just stopped working

I do not know what went wrong here....all I did was adding some more erf to the module and now it simply stopped working....anyone got a clue? I tried to re-import it but even that was an epic fail.

Most likely something in the .erfs messed up the scripts. Perhaps there was a same-named script that overwrote the original with a different version? Or some script or whatever the system relied upon was changed by the erf?



Whatever the case, if the ONLY change you made was to import more erfs, then your problem was from that.

but if I re-imported it wouldn't that mean that it then overwrite that messed up script?

Depends if that erf import messed up that script.

Yes and no depending on what he overwrote to begin with and what you overwrote on adding other erfs plus if you used the cep updater or changed a hak.



I would say go back to the earliest back up mod you have that worked and look at that.

okay, what if I found the issue, would just de-importing it and re-import the point system make it all better? Since we sorta discovered this rather late and most of the staff have been really working hard on a lot of things here

Tricky as said befor. If you have orginal work someware then making a erf will fix scripts but you will also need orginal 2das to over write what work you did with those. then test see if error gone. if it is not, You will have to do the work to find if its the 2das or the script. It will just take a little time is all and perhaps some coffe or 2hr energy drink if you all have been up and working hard on it.
