I love NWN, but I've played (and replayed) most of the quality modules and not many new ones seem to be popping up anymore. So I've moved on to DA:O for the most part, but I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of standalone modules for that game too. What's a bored gamer gal to do? *grin*

Thanks Andarian! Having my favorite mod author even acknowledge my existence made my day!

My pleasure, Amy -- just as saying that I was your favorite mod author made mine.

Well, I'm doing my best to help with that by working busily on Sanctum 3.

I don't blame the module builders one bit for the lack of modules for DA, I just *wish* there would be some. I certainly understand how hard it is to make them (I can't figure out the Aurora toolset well enough to make a mod *grin*) and I'd MUCH rather wait longer for good modules than have a bunch of broken/poor quality ones released sooner. I tried one the other day that was a disaster and decided to give it a bit more time before I download any more.
Also, I giggled with glee at the mention of Sanctum 3.

Hey, Andarian. I am anxiously awaiting Sanctum 3, BTW. I may not be playing NWN as much as maybe I 'should', but I am checking in for those updates. Hmmm....maybe I should pop in at the mod pages just to see what's up...
Anyway, I've noticed that here and at nexus there are some fairly decent DA mods being produced. Dark Times looks interesting, but I've only poked around in that somewhat. I had been working with Myteri on a Bann Teagan addin, but that kinda is on hold at the mo.
Anywho...glad to see you folks. Maybe I should go to the forums and check things out.

Just a friendly nudge.
After I read the first page, I could not help but notice some confusion. Video cards are a different type of hardware compared to graphics cards. There is a very distinct difference between the two. Graphics cards are an evolved version of the video cards, but they have on board utilities, cpus, and ram. Video cards use to be standard on computers created prior to 2002. Once games started to require the advance technology, graphic cards replaced them as the standard.
Just a nudge.

Hm...I thought the difference was that Nvidia tends to call its hardware graphics cards, while ATI calls its hardware video cards?

^ QFT
nVIDIA: "GPU" = Graphics Processor Unit
AMD: "VPU" = Video Processor Unit

In my game the eye colours weren;'t showing in the character creation until I notched up the graphic settings, and it does show now.
