Ok, so I have a few MS Points remaining (200 to be exact).

My question is which of those pack should I get, which add more to the game?

Thank you

Firepower. Any armor changes are more or less cosmetic, but FpP gives you hands down the best Assault Rifle in the game, plus a great shotgun.

Do you prefer the Kestrel Armor Set or arguably OP Weapons?

Aegis Pack - Great Armor pieces, and the Incisor is good for the squad not so much for Shep.

Firepower Pack - Three awesome weapons

What is that you want? More fire power to Squadmates or more firepower to you?

The Aegis included Incisior SR is almost a Wunderwaffe in Squadmate's hands, but more or less useless for Shepard, though the Armor is pretty useful, both in stats and style.

The Firepower Pack offers a Pistol with more punch and ammo than the Carnifex, with a more stressing aiming device though which can be disadvantagous at times if not most of the times, depending on how you use your pistols. The Geth Plasma Shotgun is accurately an Un-Shotgun, with great accuracy in mid and even long range, plus features the highly devastating charged-up-shot. A real Defense-Stripper and Squadmates benefit from its accuracy. The Mattock is arguably a great AR and the best Weapon for Adrenaline Rush out there. It packs high accuracy, little to none recoil and a great punch, balanced out by a rather little clip capacity which may become a problem if you don't like running around for clips or use AR frequently.

Firepower pack was worth another playthrough as soldier. I never got the Aegis and never missed it, N7 armor looks cool to me and that's all that matters.

Armor that's game breakingly powerful for just Shepard?

Or weapons that are game breakingly powerful for everyone?

Firepower pack weapons make every Shepard and teammate a weapons specialist. The Geth Shotgun eliminates the range penalty and can be as powerful as the Claymore with none of the drawbacks. The Matlock Assault Rifle is pretty much game-breakingly powerful for any class, with high power, accuracy, and shooting as fast as you pull the trigger. Even the dinky pistol, what's-its-name, turns the pistol weapon into an actually effective anti-armor device.

Thank you for the tips guy, as of now I am a Vanguard with Assault Rifle training (I use Collector's Rifle)

I am planning on starting a 2nd playthru (not NG+ and not importing my ME1 save - so I can see how the game goes without a save brought over)

So on this 2nd playthru, I will use a Sentinel so I guess that a weapons pack would be the best choice for myself and my squad.

oh I forgot, I gotta go back on my first playthru a re-do Overlord - so yeah Firepower will come in use on my Vanguard.

Thanx

The firepower guns are almost too good IMO. But they are fun, and that is all that matters.

No armor in the game is game breakingly powerful in this game, in fact, I'd go so far as to say the vast majority are underpowered. Armor makes so little difference in this game that I've gotten to the point where I pretty much wear whatever looks good.

If you are playing Vanguard, take Aegis. You get massive bonuses to everything a Vanguard needs.

If you wear the whole set:

Weapon damage: +11%

Shields: +25%

Headshot damage: +5%

Melee damage: +30%

Heavy weapon: +5%

The Incisor sniper rifle is top notch, too. For squadies.

From the Firepower pack: The Geth shotgun is nice but squadmates don't seem to use it very well, and as a Vanguard I preferred the normal shotguns. The Mattock AR is terrific. The heavy pistol is terrific and I use it all the time, but it's not that much better than the one you get during Mordin's recruitment.

A Vanguard may not necessarily need the Aegis armor, but the Geth Pulse Shotgun is practically a OHOK guarantee. Since this class's greatest defense is the offense, the firepower pack is more likely to serve better in long run.
