Then Serana rezzed a mage, and he summoned a daedra.
ITS A NECROMANCER PARTY!

Where else can use see people willing to attack ON FOOT, someone riding a skeletal horse on fire, who themselves are encased in black spiky armor of doom?
I mean literally at level 79 I LAUGH at most threats I face.
Always happens in a Bethesda game.
You level so high you can just mock everything.
Except for Super Mutant Overlords in FO3. Ouch.

Most people think it will be called Hearthfire, but no idea about the content.
Really I just want to check out Solsthiem again.

So anyone want to guess at what the next DLC will be about?

There should be plenty of Dunmer in Solstheim now, after the Red Year. Might be interesting to see how Tribunal worship has changed with the eruption of Red Mountain and the demise of the Tribunal.

Based soley on Skyrim, I am for more Thalmor and Snow Elves, and hope the Dwarves remain hidden.

They really were a race of bastards it seems.
Mutilating an entire race, for slavery.

As long as I get to punch some Thalmor faces in with my daedric gauntlets, I'll be happy.
Or use their souls to enchant items. No godhood for them.

The Dwemer are coming back someday - all arrows point in that direction. Slowly but surely, the shroud that surrounded Dwemer history is being unraveled and they are shown to be rather villainous from what we've seen so far. If they do indeed come back, it will not be as benefactors.
That could make a pretty epic storyline for a DLC, or TES 6.
Because honestly how often are DWARVES used for the evil race or foe in fantasy?
Hopefully you can toss them off of very high ledges, by their beards.

The Dwemer had unprecedented knowledge and technology that is ahead of its time even in the Fourth Era. If they were to return and begin rebuilding their empire, the other races in Tamriel will be at a severe disadvantage as they still don't understand Dwemer technology (or really much of anything about them) to this day, and will have no means of defense or counterattack.
Are we sure Skyrim isn' sci-fi instead of fantasy? Cause this sounds a heck of a lot like sci-fi...you know, that hyper-advanced yet ancient race, that people are still learning from...

Cement that could set under water?
Some of their engineering feats?
The Dwemer were masters of technology that people can hardly even grasp.
Even Calcelmo, Urag, and that Bosmer chap in the College hardly understand what they got up to.

It's standard fantasy fare too. The elves and dwarves are always living off technology from the past that has been lost which is more powerful. It lets powerful artifacts show up in time for the boss battle. lolEntropicAngel wrote...

Although TES definitely does have sci fi elements. The Dwemer and Altmer had airships, for instance. There's a theory that Pelinal Whitestrake is a robot from the future.

They have tons of cool ideas, but in game its just kind of lacking.
"WOW COOL!....Oh"
Like I know their idea for Cyrodil was FAR different then "generic medieval fantasy land"

Although to put things in perspective, for all their technological advances (air ships, GPS navigation, Robots with their own AI), the dwemer were still using swords, bows and Axes before their disappearance. They never advanced enough to invent gunpowder, for example

Who cares about magic when a gun can drop a mage at long range?
Who cares about castles when a cannon can knock them down?
Who care about knights in armor when bullet tear through them?
Guns really shatter warfare and medieval ideals.
While its fun to run around tossing spells, its less fun to get shot dead instantly.

You slash a mook across the gut, then shove a sword clean through their neck.
Nearly AC series level of owies.

Kyne's Peace shout definitely makes trips through the Rift less annoying.greengoron89 wrote...
Well, it's official: The Rift is my least favorite Hold in the game. Besides Riften just being a piece of crap city, I can't seem to take a f***ing step out on the roads without being attacked by wolves, bears, or Frostbite spiders. It's literally reaching Cliff Racer levels of annoyance. >
