Offhand comments are really all we have to go on - it's not like we get to know most NPCs in the game very well. :P

Either way, her abrasive attitude annoys me - there's really no reason for her to act the way she does towards people. She probably should marry into the Battle-Borns - she'd fit right in.

I'm more annoyed by Nazeem, and his condescending tone than Olfina, tbh.

Overall, though, I don't care that much. I've never plotted revenge on him or anything. Image IPB

I don't much care about Olfina's sexism. Let's have her beat a dragon to death with her fists, and then I'll listen to whatever she has to say.

Sexism?  LOL  That seems a bit extreme.

People are so sensitive on behalf of their tender dovahkiins.

She behaves differently towards men than she does towards women based on some sort of irrational dislike. That's sexist to me.

I left Nazeem dead in a ditch, riddled with arrows, and naked.

NO one gave a damn.

^ Except the Jarl's backside, which had grown accustomed to Nazeem's kissing.

I kinda wish you could pick NPCs up and toss them, ala Saints Row the Third. Now that would be satisfying.

Fus Ro Dah almost does that.

One of my best moments with the shout was in the final confrontration with Ulfric. He used some shout on me and I did not really notice any effect. Then I Fus Ro Dah'ed him and sent him flyng and beat him to a pulp.

I imagine that's the kind of treatment he gave the king, and so it was a fitting end for him.

Vampire lords can do this rather well; one of the better abilities the form has to offer. At least, it works on would be assassins and Vigilants to my great satisfaction.

Yeah, but to just be able to run over to a kid, or a dog, or a bandit, or whatever, and pick them up, use them as a meat shield, or toss them off a cliff would be pretty fun. Maybe I just need to play a little SR3 to get it out of my system.

I guess I did know that Vampire Lord had that ability, but sadly, I haven't gotten that far in either of my VL playthroughs. I want to, but I keep finding more butterflies, so to speak.

With the dog, I would just like squeezing the stuffing out of it, figuratively. The new Dawnguard dogs are simply adorable, and I wish I could hug them. I'm such a girl.

The dogs are rather fuzzy, but so are the cows. I ran up to one and it looked at me - I had to laugh. If you've ever had a real cow do that, you'd understand the humor.

She seems to assume that all, or at least most men are nothing but chauvinist pigs who think she's weak - this is sexist.

What's her name in Riverwood assumes all women are after her husband, too.

People take offhand NPC comments so seriously.

Lol that's Sigrid, she assumes all men are after her.  Olfina's alright with me.

^ Oops, sorry, Jack. Either I stole your idea, or great minds think alike.

I finally noticed Mossy Glen Cave for the first time - right outside of Fort Dawnguard. There's not much in there, aside from some random loot and a whole bunch of BEARS! It wasn't too terribly difficult, but my character needs to focus more on his combat skills.

I can't believe it took me that long to realize that was there. I always thought there should be something else in Dayspring Canyon.

This is what I imagined Skyrim dogs to look like.  I take Sceolang or Garmr (Volkihar) for a few radiants.

^ Yeah, once I saw my first dog in Skyrim, I assumed there would be different breeds, but nope. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally shot arrows at Hunters' dogs, thinking they were wolves. I'm glad the Dawnguard ones look like what you'd expect in a snowy region.

I always think about taking one of the dogs out, but I'm afraid it would die, and I'd feel terrible. Same thing with the trolls. I'm not a huge fan of some people, but I am a bleeding heart for animals. Even the pixel kind.

I find this picture is more so true for me and anything reguarding this forum. The rest is normally

You gotta love the Markarth guards.

"There are NO Forsworn in the city! Nothing to see here! Move along!"

They remind me a lot of Officer Barbrady from South Park. I was surprised that they actually acknowledged the thief guild in the city instead of telling you that "there is NO thief, nor a thief guild in this city! Now move along, nothing to see here!"

Speaking of the Forsworn: I would be interested to know what you think of the conflict in the Reach. Who's "right", who's "wrong" in your opinion? Forsworn or Silver-Blood, or the bigger conflict Nords vs. Reachmen?

The Forsworn are a menace to all citizens of The Reach both Nord and non-Nord alike, and must be eliminated by any means necessary - both the Stormcloaks and the Empire agree with this, since it was the Empire who commissioned Ulfric and his men to send Madanach and the rest of his wild band of Hagraven-worshipping savages packing out of Markarth.

So do I.  Most people do.

And can we employ a bit of perspective here?  it's ONE line we're talking about, not some pattern of behavior.    And  it's One line that doesn't, in any way, disparage or criticize men in the slightest, so I'm not quite sure where "sexism" comes into play

If they were simply rebels trying to  violently take back the Reach, I'd have no problems sympathizing with them because they do have a case.

But... they're quite a bit more than that, aren't they.  They do rituals with Hagravens, and they kidnap children, and they attack you on sight instead of even bothering to ask you to choose sides.   How is anyone who's trying to pick between right and wrong supposed to see such people as Right?

That said, I like looking at forsworn chicks, so  Forsworn aren't All bad.
