One they'll protect the home.
Two, they'll turn on each other and every day I come home I'll see a civil war.

Someone brought up a good point on the Bethesda boards. If you watch the video, you'll see that one of the selling points is that you're gonna have to defend your house from Skeever infestations, Bandit and Giant attacks, etc. This sounds good in a commercial, but...it sets off a red flag for anyone who's played Dawnguard. Expect to constantly defend your home from enemies.... every night.
This is a really good point. I think we have more or less established that I will NOT be buying the next DLC

Even on my character who really does not care about them.
At this point its almost a habit.
Maybe I should make my next character a Minsc expy.

I find it odd they haven't been attacking me on sight after I killed that fort of them to release a prisoner. Its not like every guard in Skyrim hasn't commented on it.
Lack of Thalmor supporting witnesses perhaps?

I always attack Thalmor on sight. The thought doesn't even cross my mind to do otherwise. The only thing that might give me a moment's pause is the possibility of witnesses (which I always tend to scan the area prior to swinging the axe or pulling the bow). Of course, I've attacked Thalmor in sight of Stormcloaks, and they obviously could care less...and tend to join in.
With the More NPCs in the Wild mod, I get to attack Thalmor alot...and it is pretty darn gratifying to attack an enemy at will that is so easy to hate. Oh, and as a Stormcloak character, it's quite fun to wander up on Thalmor in the wild while they're fighting Stormcloaks, and the Stormcloaks mighte be getting the worst of it, so you get to play the hero as well as the avenging angel.
Thalmor....

It's amusing when they call me a dog while I'm punching their faces in.

Oh really? You actually haven't seen the "interference" part yet.

Using fear to scatter two of them, then killing them one by one.

Did the VAs record their Dawnguard dialogue at the same time as the game, or later, I wonder?

I was talking to Urag last night, and noticed that his inflection changes quite a bit when talking about Elder Scrolls. It's like he had a skeever in his throat or something. Strange.

The VA of the guards sounds very different when talkin about anything Dawnguard related. Don't think that they are always the same VA from the main game.

Softening up mooks then taking an axe to them.
Now if only I would stop wandering around and get back to actually building.
I really have ADHD in Skyrim.
OH FOUND A RUIN!
OOH! FOUND A DRAGON!
OH FOUND A CAVE!
OH FOUND A QUEST!
On and on it goes.

It's more like:
Ah, a drag- ooh, a pair of Luna Moths! Seriously, I've found myself on occasion picking flowers in the middle of a pitched battle.
The Next DLC should be Ritalin.

The version I use in on the Steam Workshop, but the Nexus mod has already been updated and seems to allow for a could more options than seen here.

I experienced no Roleplay Sidetrack Syndrome while playing Skyrim at all, but I did get sidetracked all the time when playing Kingdoms of Amalur (one quest here, one quest there, quests everywhere). Strange.
I suffer the same ADD everyone else does with Skyrim, but it is getting better. In my first playthrough, I was seriously stressed out with all the quests I had going on, and the fact that they never seemed to leave my list. Then I'd see a tower in the distance, or a cave, and I just had to go in. Then at some point, I'd have the "what the heck was I doing?" thought, and would try to get back on track. Then I'd see something else...rinse and repeat. There's just so much going on, and so many things to see, that I'm nto sure how you can focus.
At least now, with so many playthroughs under my belt, I know where things are, and can be a bit more efficient with turning quests in, or gathering items. Sometimes I'll wait to go to an area until I have a pile of quests to do there. But butterflies, luna moths, and torchflies are still really good distractions for me...oh, and ore veins.

Up until then, it had not been a quest option in any of my playthroughs. I mean, I've been by and in Frostmere Crypt, and bumped into Eisa Blackthorn before, but the event never triggered where the other bandists were attacking her. Usually, she'd just be standing there, and if I tried to talk to her, she'd just say, "Yes?" Then after clearing out the place, she'd be gone.
The weird thing is that I didn't remember the place at all, and I know I've been in there before. I think I would have remembered a Wispmother and Kyr, but I am kind of a ditz at times.
My point was that I thought it was a cool little sidequest. I'm a little sad I missed out on it before.
