I find it hard to believe that everyone in Skyrim has that much body in their hair, let alone it being that clean and flowy. That stuff is just too fake for me; I guess I prefer gritty.

And just in case you're interested, this is a typical overhaul with Bella's Mods.
I can't wait to build a house. I'm just sayin'.
Actually a normal in-game character is a slight step down from that photo, so they're not near as perfect as presented while running around in your average game. They actually look "better" (perhaps more natural would be the word?) than that in game; although you can go full bore with the fake plastic doll mods, which are absolutely grotesque in my view. Oh, and Apache hair seems to be a quality hair add-on
EDIT: Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, CORE files doesn't touch the hair, only skin textures, so I believe the hair in the photo is vanilla.

Its because of the freedom.
I am never rammed into a box and forced to be anything.
Hell my Dunmer right now? Just wanders about righting wrongs, and seeing the sights.

You can also find a ton of unmarked locations and loot that way.
Total sidenote, but I am addicted to summoning my Wrathman. I just

I don't use the flowy hair of Apachii either. I actually have only two characters with modded har: my Breton has a long braid, and my Redguard has very long hair. At least both styles don't look like they require gel or some kind of conditioner.

Some of the Apachi hair stuff is very nice, but I really don't trust myself to make pretty women,

I'm not fond of most of the styles in Apachii so I stick with the stock hair. This is Skyrim, after all, not Hollywood or your typical city downtown area. I do use a body and skin texture mod (CBBE) and I'm not certain I like the face just yet. It's got that "doll" look to it but it does make the Mer a good deal less frightening to look at.
Yes I needed to ask about this. Are there any decent hair mods besides Apachii?
Oh and does anyone have any suggestions for what race I should use next for a female character? Anything but an Imperial because I tried and got bored with it real fast, in fact this is like the third time I've tried an Imperial.

It's pretty awesome to walk around at night, even with vampires running around. I did that a lot with one of my characters. She refused to take a carriage anywhere, so there was a lot of ground covered by walking. It was nice to see the wildlife displaying different nighttime behavior versus daytime behavior. I saw lots of really cool skies during that playthrough.

Awesome aren't they? After awhile they spawn with a random dragonbone 2hander.

Next time you find yourself in the Soul Cairn, at least try to get Conjure Wrathman - it should be slightly west of the Reaper's Lair.

In the Soul Cairn exist three shrines - on each one is a spell time: Conjure Boneman, Conjure Mistman, and Conjure Wrathmen. Bonemen and Mistman are decent summons for lower levels, but Wrathmen are pretty uber and at least as good as Dremora Lords.

Ha! But they lack the whole uber-trash-talking of the Dremora Lords! Where is the fun in that?

In Riverwood i found Gerdur's body on the street with no dragons present. With google search i discovered that fast traveling to the town would activate a glitch in which she would be afflicted by frenzy, and kill Hod. I can assume that she was killed by the guards or Faendal, but i'm going to try to replicate it so i can watch the tragedy unfold. With some roleplaying i'll imagine that Gerdur discovered Hod's, and Ralof"s steamy affair.(uses brain bleach)
Perhaps she is killed due to her sympathizing and giving aid to the Stormcloaks (ie; Imperial guards)?
Recently discovered a gem of info I wished to pass along to the other Vamp lovers here: If one takes the Necromage perk in the Restoration school as a Vampire, ALL spell related effects are given a bonus (ie; +25%?) to the character. This apparently affects healing, buffs including strength and duration, Crafting results, Shout cooldowns, etc.
From the Wikia:
Necromage affects those infected with vampirism. The game tags vampires as undead, making all spells/effects/buffs cast on oneself have greater effect. Only armor and jewelry enchantments are affected, not penalties, spells cast on self, or weapon enchantments. This means, for example:
- Enchanted equipment stats will improve somewhat. 100% magicka regeneration can become 125%. This also allows crafting to be improved considerably, as any fortify alchemy or smithing gear will gain a 25% bonus, which in turn can apply to the creation of other fortify potions, such as enchanting elixirs.
- Shouts last longer, and cool-down is improved.
- Dead Thrall can be cast on undead past the level 40 cap.
- Conjuration summons will last longer.
- A negative effect is that weakness to fire increases by 25%. It is wise to offset this with resist magic or fire enchantments even more than already if choosing to play a vampire with Necromage. The Dunmer fire resistance perk will improve and allow vampires to offset the increased weakness naturally.

Hey, her armor is exquisite as well!
I may be in the minority, but I really like Blades armor. To me, it's the best looking armor in the game; problem is, the stats just blow. Precisely why I've modded all sets of Blades armor in the game to higher level stats like it deserves...oh, and made it craftable. I use 'Bloody Blades Armor,' but it has a serious downside for the boost. It unfortunately re-colors the entire ensemble to reflect, well...the armor having just been through battle. Not crazy about it, but it is what it is.
Anyone else know of a Blades armor mod that boosts the stats to a higher level through smithing, and makes sets craftable without monkeying with the original texture? I would be interested.

I don't know much about modding on the PC but would it not be possible to just replace the texture for Bloody Blades Armor with the texture for the normal version?
