How come for example that other "beast races" are kicked out of the cities, but the player is free to wander them even before being known as the dragonborn.
Maybe if you were a khajiit, the others might be happy to meet a fellow kitty in the cold inhospitable world of Skyrim.
Would just add a bit of extra flavor.

@Splinter - I've made a female Bosmer and Dunmer that I think are ok...the nice thing is if you get Dawnguard, you can more or less change them at will from the face changer in Riften (well, for 1000 septims a pop). You have a leg up on me, though, I can't seem to make a truly good looking female Altmer to save my life. Maybe Galadriel needs a visit to the face changer, herself. Hmm...

Although...if you do the bedroom wing, you can add two more single beds (and a double bed). You have to have the main hall to build any of the wings...and the main hall has 2 single beds (and another double bed), so that makes me wonder if you could actually have 4 kids? I haven't tested that theory, yet.

Well, if you play as Khajiit, you do get a lot of "Cat" and "You'll make a nice rug" references, but yeah. There are some subtle dialogue differences, if you're paying attention, but they can be easy to miss. If there was a race-specific questline in and of itself, that would be pretty dang awesome.
Shame I didn't really notice more than a few. But then again I have not played my Khajiit as much as my other characters.

I usually have trouble relating to male characters, and lose interest in them quickly.

I think my Dunmer guy looks good, but I had to resort to the Younger Looking Males mod.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
Has anyone had any luck creating good looking Bosmer or Dunmer, I can never do it. I've made good looking characters with Altmer but that's about it, in fact my main is an Altmer rogue/mage. Dunmer and Bosmer are just so difficult to create, I think even beast races are easier to create.

I have a tradition that I always start out as Argonian. My first char was an Argonian that bashed everything with a huge 2 handed hammer haha.
I did have a Nord for a little bit but eh.
Now I'm playing a Khajiit thief / archer / duel wielder.... Getting very much into the roleplaying. Roleplayed how he developed magic and everything.
I always start out as an Argonian as well then play w/ and Altmer an Redguard. The only time I go out of those races is for a fun playthrough.
Bah, it's funny seeing people trying to make an Elf look 'sexy' or 'hawt'. What's wrong with them just looking unhuman?

Hell, Argonians with Dawnguard vampirism are prettier than DA2 elves.Giggles_Manically wrote...
At least they are still prettier then DA2 elves.
Then again that is like saying a mail box is prettier then a compost heap really.

@Tobi and Addai - those are both great-looking Dunmer. Not an easy feat, to be sure!

Also, Honorable mention goes to Eola, who didn't make the list because her eyes look too weird.

So...Delphine isn't on your pretty Breton women list? Heh.
I took Illia with me to fight that dragon with Delphine in Kynesgrove, in one of my playthroughs, and her frost atronach kept hitting Delphine, which made her hostile towards Illia. That fight went on for ages. I was trying to progress the quest along after killing the dragon, but right in the middle of a sentence, Illia kept zapping Delphine with lightning bolts, and the dialogue would end. *sigh*

Lydia, Aela, Ysolda...etc.
Then again for Aela...its like 99% the side boob.
HOLY SIDE BOOB BATMAN.
I literally said that when I met her for the first time.

I first noticed that with Eola, and her "come hither" stance...well, and super sultry voice.

It's just Ancient Nord Armor. If you manage to find a set (I think I found an Ancient Nord Boots and an Ancient Nord Chest piece at Forlehost, I think), you can put it on your female followers and get the same effect, but without having to look at Aela's ugly facepaint.Giggles_Manically wrote...
I kind of have a thing for Nord women in the game.

It is low ranking heavy armor though, so you might have to improve it at the skyforge if you want some of the heavy armor-centric followers to wear it (like Lydia or Mjoll)

Faleen is nice to look at. The new Hearthfire housecarl for Falkreath, Rayya, seems like she'd be ok, too, but she's wearing an Alik'r hood, so it's hard to tell. I agree, though. Redguards can be quite nice to look at, and there seems to be a definite shortage of them.
I've done two playthroughs, and this is the first time I've heard about Faleen, so thanks for informing me of her, I'll try to check out that side quest with her and Calcelmo later, haha.
