That was a fun one. Of course I happened to be in Riften when I met Sam Guevenne. Not all that pleasing to wake up on the other side of the whole province when I hadn't explored anything near that area.

That's one of those quests that loses just about all its "wow" after the first time.

I remember meeting Sam Guevenne in Whiterun on my very first playthrough, I hadn't explored much of the map yet at all, but was still overwhelmed by the size of the world. I had a billion quests in my journal and didn't know what direction to head off in.... Next thing I know, my confusion is multiplied by 10 as I wake up and find myself in an entirely different part of the map.

It was Glorious!

But now it's like. Ok, I'm gonna head to Markarth anyway, so lets go to the bar and have a drinking contest with Sam

So... i finally think about buying Hearthfire for my PC. Did they already fixed the bugs or is it still a mess?

I don't think so, no... but Patch 1.8 is coming out soon, so perhaps it will fix some of them.

I didn't buy Hearthfire but I'll definitely pick this one up.  The DLC also hints at a return to Morrowind.  I won't mind riding Oda or Durn after I get the ability to summon them.

Hehe, yeah, he's a bit of a drunk. That would almost be like hiring Cosnach to babysit your kids.

The ones I've chosen and been happy with are:

Ghorbash the Iron Hand
Eola
Belrand

Of course, they're also among my favorite followers, too.

I hired one of the Dawnguard NPC followers once, and she just kept spouting "Victory to the Dawnguard". It got old pretty quick., let me tell you.

Edit: Oh! I forgot! I also used Vilkas. I liked him too.

I know her habits are kinda...questionable, but I like to give the underdog a chance. By letting her live, she has a chance to do some good in the world, under my Dovahkiin's watchful eye.

Skyrim is truly an amazing game. One of the best I have ever personally played.

I do enjoy the idea of multiple plus hours of new content,with little new things here and there. I also love the idea of exploring surrounding areas of Skyrim. Yet I still do not know how I will feel about flying on a Dragon's back. An interesting idea to say the least. How well will this be executed and will it add to the game in a positive way?

Okay yes I am excited right now.

Going back to Solsthiem is going to be so sweet.
Especially if there are more Thalmor to kill.

I wonder what the story is going to be about though? Perhaps the Bloodmoon again since we saw it during Hircine's Quest

If I had to guess, I'd say Dragonborn likely heavily involves the Dunmer since they have all but claimed Solstheim since the Argonian invasions and eruption of Red Mountain. There are also mentions of the Telvanni in the data files, so perhaps we'll meet some old Telvanni wizards (Divayth Fyr FTW)... and if there is indeed a connection to Hermaeus Mora and Apocrypha, I'm guessing the Telvanni have something to do with it. You know those blasted Telvanni wizards and their consorting with Daedra.

Since Solstheim is so close to Winterhold, we may be traveling to Solstheim from there (and may finally discover what the hell caused the Great Collapse)... or perhaps we will actually go to Morrowind and travel to Solstheim from there...? By the Nine, the possibilities are limitless.

If Hircine will be involved in some capacity, I hope it results in the werebear form finally making its way into the game. I also hope spears will make a comeback since the DLC is obviously gonna be channeling Morrowind pretty heavily... and Morrowind fans like me should be bleeding ecstatic right about now (more when the official announcement is made confirming this).

It's also worth mentioning that TES Wiki article on Hermaeus Mora says he is connected to the Morag Tong, and that Mephala is his "sibling"... could we also encounter the Morag Tong again in our new adventure? God, I hope so. This s*** will be epic.
