On a side note... damn, there are some real sad sacks on the Bethesda forums - they spoiled the mood with their uber pessimistic BS about a game they hate, yet can't stop playing and discussing. Sounds like another forum I know...

I'm in awe at some of the stuff people said about Dawnguard on there... Dawnguard was the ******, man. It wasn't expansion-sized in the Shivering Isles sense... which is why it wasn't charged for $30 like a full-blown expansion would've been, yet it's somehow still "too expensive." It had the best questline of them all (even beating the DB questline IMHO)... and a new plane of Oblivion in addition to a massive lore drop towards the end with one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the game. And... well, I can't really say enough good things about Dawnguard.

Also, I have to admit that if the next DLC is set ONLY on Solstheim, I will be a bit disappointed. Solstheim was not very big by itself... it'd be so much better if northwestern Morrowind were included, and feel like a waste if it wasn't.

I, however, enjoyed the crap out of it, even without being able to romance human cattle in the basement in Castle Volkihar.

You know, I actually should probably finish Dawnguard. What I've played, I've enjoyed thusfar. But, I haven't touched Skyrim, or New Vegas for that matter, in quite some time. I seem to have this weird Borderlands and Max Payne grind thing going on!

You need to do the quest Touching the Sky, my friend, and prepare yourself for...
Biggest "OH S*** SON" moment in Skyrim next to meeting Titus Mede... probably bigger. The quest itself is just amazing... awesome lore and story, breathtaking location, and epic final boss battle. Play it and see for yourself.

Rieklings are confirmed in the data files, as are boars, netches, and scribs. I have also heard whispers of dreughs, but haven't found any info confirming that just yet.

LOL. I notice the naysayers on the Beth forums are a bit different than the ones here on BSN... the ones over there are more akin to Eeyore, sighing out their pessimistic life views and sucking the fun out of everything just by being there.
The ones here though are far more fiery, shouting at the top of their lungs and using the most hyperbolic language possible, like Sargeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket.
The thing is, at least Sergeant Hartman is entertaining to watch... the people over there are just downright depressing to see in action. I feel like I need a Wellbutrin after visiting the Beth forums. LOL. <_<

You should see how many people are starting "I was DISappointed with DIShonored" threads. The only thing worse than joyless whiners starting whole downer threads is un-original joyless whiners copying the same stupid play on words. It's not enough for them to just add a "me too" to another complaint thread, oh no, the whole forum must attend to their complaints.

Some people just want to be unhappy.
Every game has its good and bad points. Its up to you which to focus on.
Like I think Skyrim is a bit shallow in a few places.
But I still love playing it because of how much freedom it gives me.
Not many games get 500 hours of play out of me. Besides Morrowind, and a few others I cant think of any I have played as much as Skyrim.

Does anybody know where I can find an extensive and complete list of mods that are good? I have a lot already but whenever I have to go through nexus I have to search everywhere due to the excess of skimpy armor mods which I really don't care about. Any help with that is appreciated.
