Is that literally true? Literally a dragon in human form? If so, isn't it odd that these human dragons have a tendency to go around killing their kin? Or perhaps it's just our dragonborn that does/did that.

Have to say, that flying around on a dragon part looked pretty cool.

Well you are referred to as such in the game a few times, and Paarthurnax, Odahviing, and Durnehviir all refer to you as a "fellow Dov." Furthermore, Odahviing declares you ruler of the Dov if you slew Paarthurnax and Alduin both. So yes, you are pretty much a dragon born in the body of a human.

Also, as dragons have not been seen in thousands of years, it does seem like the Dovahkiin PC is the only one who actively hunts and slays dragons - it doesn't appear there were any Dragonborn battling dragons during Alduin's reign... until we meet this "first" Dragonborn, perhaps.

That's an Ascended Sleeper, man - it has to be. What is it doing in Apocrypha, though? Was Hermaeus Mora connected to Dagoth Ur and the Blight somehow?

Is it just me... or at the end, does that "you don't think you were the only one" sound like Bane? lmao.

So trailer Breakdown:

It seems we will be taking a boat to either Ravenrock, or the old castle the imperials set up in the third age.
We will be visiting the Skaal again.
Rieklings are in it for sure.
We will be seeing Dunmer with both Telvani and Redoran roots
Apocrypha is in it for sure (just look at all the books)
I spotted a Netch, and a few other Morrowind goodies.
:52- A new type of Dragon
1:09- Dragon flying in Skyrim, you can see High Hrothgar in the background

Man I so hope we can ride Paarthurnax past the blades and troll them.
Esbern: What in the.!
Paarthurnax: -hhhmmhmhhh- TROLOLOOOOLLOOOLLOOOOOO!
PC: HAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAAA!
Delphine: FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!

Maybe the Dragon Priest is Konahrik.

Since this mask is the only one without a Dragon Priest wearing it in Skyrim.
If it is him, then I am so going to troll the crap out of him by wearing it.

Hahaha- Ok I'm not going crazy then! I sort of thought it sounded a little like Bane too, minus the mask reverb and all.

I have to say, I don't care for how...fantastic this looks. Let me explain.

One thing I like about Skyrim (as opposed to Oblivion) is that the majority of the game enemies are "real" things. Things like crabs, bears, tigers, Whooly Mammoths. There are a few fantastic enemies, say the trolls, the drageur (sp?), and the dragon priests (and aren't those like a type of draguer?). But most enemies are fairly realistic. I didn't like Oblivion in this regard, because it had zombies and skeletons and minotaurs and will-oh-the-wisps and lots of absurd monsters. This seems like it has a lot more stuff like that.

Just my two cents.

Is it just me or is that new song they had in the trailer too? I don't recall that from Skyrim.

Oh yes.  It's new.  Just like Dawnguard had new music.  No corners  get cut when it comes to Skyrim stuff.  Expect this one to be about 40 hours long and filled with a ton of massive brand new areas, enemies, skill trees, weapons, NPCs.... everything.

I'm far more excited about Dragonborn than I was for Dawnguard.

Draugr   *are* zombies.  Viking zombies.    Ie.  cadaverous undead, like any other.   And Skyrim has skeletons too,  And wisp mothers,  remember?    It also has Falmer,   Dwemer Robots,  And giant flying lizards.  Are you trying to say that these things are  more "real" than Minotaurs? lol

Obvious statement is obvious but I'm definitely getting that expansion.

Might even bring Serana with me just because.

Well there is a lot of realistic wildlife in Skyrim, but it has a lot of fantastic enemies too - draugr, skeletons, giants, hagravens, spriggans, Falmer, Dwemer automatons, werewolves, vampires, Dremora, atronachs, and of course dragons.

Because of the drastically different climate and landscape, Morrowind was home to a lot of "alien" (and not so much "fantastic") creatures - quite a few of those will be in Dragonborn it seems, including netches, scribs (and likely kwama), and apparently Blighted creatures as well if my suspicions are correct. Solstheim also had Rieklings, frost giants, spriggans, and werewolves. It will be a clash of creatures and cultures, for sure - as a longtime Morrowind fan, I am majorly pumped.

Also not really blown away with this one. Mind you Dawnguard will be pretty hard to top regardless.

What I mean is, draugr look like a shrink-wrapped human. They aren't this naked body covered in sores that moans and stumbles around and makes squishy noises when it walks.

Skeletons, fair. Wisp mother, I have no idea what that is. Falmer are just elves. Robots aren't fantastic.

That's one thing I don't like about Serana. Her bringing things to life randomly. Gah.

So... massive "alien" environments........

Vanilla Skyrim had Blackreach.
Dawnguard had the Soul Cairn.

Anyone wanna take a stab at the one Dragonborn is gonna have?

I think that was implied in Yrkoon's post. It also looks pretty wicked in the trailer. I wonder if we'll get to meet Hermaeus Mora in the flesh, and how this first Dragonborn is connected to him?
