Did anyone else see a hanar in the Dragonborn trailer? Cause I could have sworn I saw a hanar.

Those are Bull Netches - they were in Morrowind and, according to both the trailer as well as data files in Patch 1.8, will be in Dragonborn as well.

Heh, what can I say? I'm super hyped - I've been looking at the stuff from Patch 1.8 for weeks, and I've probably scoured the trailer for every last bit of info I can find.

I'm actually gonna install and play Morrowind now in anticipation of the new DLC. It might be nice to go into Dragonborn with Morrowind fresh in my mind.

Holy sh*t, so you actually fight an rival dragonborn! How awesome is that? So we are back in Morrowind? Isn't this a bit lacklaster how... you go to an island that you already visited in a previous DLC? Well, I'm looking foward to it regardless.

Man I just heard a rumor that ALL DLC for Skyrim is exclusive for 30 days.
If so screw you Microsoft!

Well, at least it's not the same level recycled through the whole game, HEYO!

Solstheim is likely to have changed significantly in the 200 years since the Nerevarine visited there - such is evidenced in the trailer, what with Dunmer colonization and the introduction of native Morrowind flora and fauna into the ecosystem as well as the cataclysmic eruption of Red Mountain. I also strongly suspect northwestern Morrowind may be accessible, and possibly parts of Vvardenfell.

The only way we'll know for sure is to play it on December 4th... unless Bethesda drops some more details before then like they did with Dawnguard.

I LOVED how they integrated the morrowind theme and the skyrim theme.

Awesome.

I absolutely hate that PC will be getting it after the box. Ugh.

I hope we get some good boss fights.

I LOVED the double dragon fight, and especially Harkon.

Is there any leaks for the weapons, and armor?

Harkon actually put up a fight, as did Vyrthur (my favorite boss in the game). The two dragons could've been more difficult, but I had both Serana and Durnehviir along with me so the odds were kinda tipped in my favor anyway.

Dragon Priests are always a pain in the ass to kill though regardless of level - add the fact that this new one is apparently Dragonborn and will likely be able to use several fully powered shouts, and we might need to take a life insurance policy out on our player characters.

@Hierophant - Bonemold, Chitin, Nordic, and Stahlrim armors are confirmed - there are also files in Patch 1.8 indicating spears may be in the DLC, but nothing in the trailer indicated that save for the spears the Rieklings were carrying.

I've seen a theory being passed around on the Beth forums suggesting the first Dragonborn might be "The Greedy Man" mentioned in "Aevar Stone-Singer", an old Skaal legend we learn about in Bloodmoon. It is indeed possible since the Standing Stones are connected to "The Greedy Man", and the Hermaeus Mora cultists (I assume that's what they are) in the trailer are seen trying to do something to the Stones, possibly trying to resurrect this first Dragonborn ("The Greedy Man").

There is also mention of "Thartaag the World-Devourer" (Alduin the World-Eater, obviously) appearing at the "End of Seasons", and a connection is drawn between him and "The Greedy Man." So this theory could hold some weight.

I am trying to stay positive but....

I cant help but feel angry that Bethesda signed this stupid deal ALL DLC deal with Microsoft.
I have bought all the TES games, their DLC, and have been a fan for years. Yet I have to wait for a month just because.

It just irks me.

If it's any consolation to you, we'll be able to give you guys a heads up on what all bugs infest the DLC - we shall suffer so that you can be prepared. :P

Yeah, us 360 gamers are really just glorified beta testers with that early release window.

That beta testing idea is not even true- you can't beta test for PC on Xbox, and PC versions are released with bugs, too.

It sucks- it just does. By the time we get the DLCs, it's old news and not even exciting anymore. I was prepared to let Bethesda off the hook if Hearthfire was the last one but this stinks.

Thanks for the info, right now i'm being overwhelmed by nostalgia.

Here's a screenshot you might find interesting, Hierophant:

I'm pretty sure that's Stahlrim armor the Dovahkiin is wearing there - I'm sure your nostalgia is reaching critical levels now. I know mine is.

I'm guessing that the Dragonborn DLC is 360 exclusive for now. I hate waiting, lets just hope they don't decide to release it by the end of december or some stupid crap like that.

I really enjoyed Dagoth Ur as an antagonist. I loved how we actually sat and chatted for like 30 minutes before we fought. I really enjoyed that.

Mehruhns Dagon, Mankar Cameron, and Alduin lacked that... civil quality that made me like Dagoth Ur. Even when I knew he must be stopped and his Blight and corpus dieases were... well a blight upon the land.

Man I really hope dragon riding does not make my computer explode when I use it.

Hopefully when I get a new laptop things will work out better.
