I really enjoyed Dagoth Ur as an antagonist. I loved how we actually sat and chatted for like 30 minutes before we fought. I really enjoyed that.
Mehruhns Dagon, Mankar Cameron, and Alduin lacked that... civil quality that made me like Dagoth Ur. Even when I knew he must be stopped and his Blight and corpus dieases were... well a blight upon the land.
Yeah, Dagoth Endus was pretty damn polite too. Brandy and the first strike? I tip my hat to you, good sir!
And the Hideouts of the Sixth House never failed to creep me out. They always had that horror movie feeling to them. Walking into a room and bam! Chairs piled over chairs and everywhere those insane scribbling and the House Dagoth insignia in blood

As for the PS3, part of the me wants to feel bad for them, the other part just wants to laugh at them and be a real ****.

@Haplose - I strongly urge you to get Dawnguard - there is a lot more to it than just vampires, I assure you. There is a major revelation regarding ancient Tamrielic history that honestly makes the entire DLC worth it.
So I hear. And thanks for advice:)
I will get it eventually. Perhaps make a Dawnguard - Dragonborn marathon? Or the other way around
For now I'm busy exploring Old World Blues (love the humour!).... then all the other FNV DLCs await.... But let me tell you.... hauling loot on Hardcore is even more of a pain without companions to carry your burdens
After that... there are still quite many locations on the main map I'd like to visit.... the Helios facility, several vaults, Khans, Boomers and probably a few others... but I digress.

If you can't see it, that's leg he's showing. It looks like he's wearing a Speedo, though actually there's nothing where his... sword should be. I take it that the game issues you a female model if your PC is female, and gets very confused if you try to put it on a dude.
All this started when I was trying to outfit him before making him steward of my Falkreath house, and via UFO checked to see his stats. He's actually tagged for light armor (and high archery!), despite his steel armor default equipment. But my PC is a heavy armor smith, so I was trying out things she had in her closet. I ended up making him some scaled armor instead.
Different orc, on the wrong side of the law...

Equipping the Savior's Hide on Ghorbash Iron-Hand had less than optimal results.

And I'm so glad to see you using Ghorbash! He's a fantastic archer, indeed. I always equipped him in Daedric armor until I figured out about the light armor. After that, I started letting him wear my upgraded TG armor, and gave him the best bows I had (with paralysis).
I just love that big, cuddly, badass Orc.

No point in being angry about it.
Mostly because Bethesda seems to think shafting 2/3 of its fans for the almighty buck is more important.

I have a 360 but I won't be paying for DLC on it, 360 Skyrim doesn't have mods. It is unfortunate that we will have to wait 1 month, I'm just going to stay as far away from Bethesda's forums as possible, that way I don't get to find out anything. I thought the deal was for 2 DLCs not three, but I guess this was expected.

They dont allow free updates.
They dont allow any modding
They dont allow any competition.
People call EA greedy? They can take a few lessons from Microsoft.

Heh. Ulfric can look more like a Stormcloak, too, if you get him as follower. I didn't put a cloak on him, though, because it clips too much with his fur collar. It clips with Dawnguard armor, too, but I like that set too much not to use it. Pretty accurate lamellar armor, which is amazing.greengoron89 wrote...
Damn Addai, that cape your Lady Stormcloak is wearing is bad ass. You look more like a Stormcloak than Ulfric himself does.
Those two are officially unofficially married now, thanks to mods. First location I came upon after fast traveling out of Riften was a secret imperial camp- stomping imperials, best Stormcloak honeymoon ever!

I love Ghorby. I was disappointed that Borghakh wasn't a steward option, for my huntress/ werewolf character. She's married to Vilkas and I wanted Farkas to be their steward, but apparently only one brother will stoop to a steady job.happy_daiz wrote...

Anyway, my Stormcloak has Ghorbash as steward now and she's going to adopt war orphans, so he's going to be foster father whether he likes it or not.

You can't use Farkas as a steward if married to Vilkas? I tried it the other way around and that worked (married to Farkas, used Vilkas as steward). If you try that, make sure to get a dog, so you can hear Vilkas say "Stupid dog". For some reason, that tickles my funnybone.
I tried one of the Dawnguard chicks as a steward, and she drove me nuts with her constant DG dialogue. Maybe it won't bother you as much as it did me.
Aww, Ghorbash as a foster daddy.

By the time I reach the "end" of the game, I plan to turn him back into a vampire for good and end the Tyranny of the Sun - what happens after that, we'll see.

On the one hand he ENJOYS carnage, battle, conquest, and power.
On the other hand he also loves his family, friends, and adopted home.
He does however take being challenged incredibly poorly, as well as being insulted.
Well he is a decent person, its kind of scary watching what happens to people who provoke him.
Case in point?
Vampires kidnap his wife.
He soul traps them and then chucks the crystals into a deep watery grave never to be seen again.
Bandits kidnap his adopted daughter?
He soul tears some, brutally pummels then heals others, until finally beating them to death.
I kind of feel bad for all the people who cross him, since it basically means they all suffer horrible deaths.

Naturally this is because of Serana and Valerica's influence as well as having spent time as a vampire himself. He's kinda like the Enthir of the Dawnguard - he's shady as hell and has no qualms operating outside of the established rules.
It's a pretty good game for RPing, though a lot of it is in your head. Still fun though.
@Addai - Ah, my guy is not actually on Harkon's side - he's still with the DG and actively working against the Volkihar. But he experienced the benefits of vampirism and liked them, and it will nag at him for the rest of the game until he decides to become one for good. I'd turn him into a vampire again sooner if I wasn't convinced werebears will be in the new DLC - I'd like to give that form a spin before becoming one with the night.

I think you might be surprised by the Vampire Lord side. I didn't want to do it either (vampirism did a hellish number on my Nord, but made my Khajiit look pretty badass), but was really happy that I did in the end. You gain a much better understanding of the story by seeing both sides, and might be surprised by what you learn. And there's a boatload of books in Castle Volkihar to read, if you've missed any.Addai67 wrote...
I'm trying to work up the motivation to make my Dunmer character a vampire. I'd like to see the other side of the DG quest line, but I know it will ruin the character for me and I like him. Decisions.
Plus, VL skills are pretty badass. Worth trying out, at least. With a Dunmer, you'd pretty much be God.
