Drivers are up to date, I put the game's main files through TES5 Cleaner, have done the add-remove draugr abilities console trick several times- still have glowy eyes.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Update your drivers.
I did and nothing they claimed caused the glowy eyes does it anymore.
Pretty easy to do really.

The only dragon that can be encountered prior to completing Bleak Falls Barrow is Durnehviir as far as I'm aware - otherwise, no dragons will spawn anywhere in Skyrim.

Do you think Tullius or Ulfric are nervous about the Dragonborn?
I mean the PC can get a LOT of power through the land, and personally destroy armies.
If they ever wanted to there is not much that Ulfric could do to actually stop you.
Plus...I spawned 50 Stormcloaks ....not much of a challenge really.

You've got more right to rule than anyone else does being literally chosen by the Gods and invested with divine power.

The last 4 have.
I doubt the empire is going to come back though.

Sure.
But if we want to be technical, Alduin does not "spawn" in the tutorial/prologue. He's a fully scripted appearance.

One year today.
One long year of Skyrim.
I mean wow...how many games can you say have kept you playing for an ENTIRE year?
Not even Morrowind could claim that for me.
I did that with ME1 when things were nice.

I've looked around but my head may explode if I see another comment about “xbox fanboys" or how Bethesda hates PS3 fans.

Dragons don't spawn at all in skyrim proper before you do the "retrieve the dragonstone" quest for the jarl of whiterun.termokanden wrote...

Little known fact: There is no 2 dragon battle, if you do the Forgotten Vale before doing the Dragon stone quest for the Jarl of whiterun.
No? I have had 2 dragons spawn so close to each other at the same time that I was fighting both at once. Outside Dawnstar.
I must have misinterpreted your post. No there is no 2 dragon battle until you do the dragon stone quest. After that, it can happen at random.
But I have only seen it once. By some odd miracle no Dawnstar citizens were hurt.

Anyway, the reason I brought up the Forgotten vale thing was because when I first got Dawnguard, I had thought that the twin dragon fight in the Forgotten Vale was a distinctive, scripted event. That it would happen no matter what (like the Durnehviir battle does the Soul Cairn). But as I recently discovered, it doesn't - which can really take a chunk of awesomeness away from the Forgotten Vale.

I'm happy to say that I was indeed playing Skyrim on its one-year anniversary. I played all weekend, in fact.
Why didn't anyone tell me how awesome Bosmer are? I mean...I had one already, but stopped playing her at about level 20. I was doing the typical Bosmer Archer run, and it just wasn't grabbing me.
However, I just love this new character. I've been trying to avoid archery, to focus on dual wielding. It's hard, because I just picked up a crossbow ala Dawnguard. Heh. And thanks for the dual-wield advice last week, you guys, it came in handy. She's still using two swords - I'm waiting to switch over to one dagger, one sword, until I can get smithing up. Right now, the damage on daggers is prohibitive, but I plan to switch soon.
I also decided to pick up some Conjuration skills. I can't possibly go an entire run without hearing a Dremora Lord taunting miscreants.
And now I just need to figure out who she's going to marry.

Seriously I cant understand Bethesda fans anymore.
Apparently Dragonborn sucks because:
1) WE ALREADY WENT TO SOLSTHEIM!
2) DRAGON RIDING RUINS LORE
3) IT SHOULD BE FREE!
etc etc etc
Its literally a never ending avalanche of entitlement, rage, and arrogance across the net. I actually saw people on the wiki who said they never played another TES game since Daggerfall. "Since its the best"
Well...still not as bad as Fallout fans though.

It's really just a few vocal idiots. Prior to this, there were a lot of us- me included- who picked Solstheim as a destination we'd like to see in DLC. Also Morrowind. You can never please everyone all the time.

I'm thinking about having my Bosmer marry Sondas Drenim (dat facial hair); have any of you guys had your pc marry a male Dunmer? Just curious what he/they are like.

edit- You're asking about your Bosmer? I always thought it would be cute to pair a little Bosmer chick with a big hulky Nord. Maybe Filnjar or Balimund (if I hadn't already married Bali on one character). Unless you're bored of Nords. It's too bad you can't marry the archery vendor in Whiterun, he's probably the cutest Bosmer in the game.

On a sidenote, I figured out who Lemkil was (Sissel and Britte's dad). I never realized what a tool that guy is. I spent a little time in the tavern in Rorikstead, and listened to him go on and on about how awful his daughters were, and how they killed his wife in childbirth. That guy needs to die, so I can adopt Sissel. He'd make a good candidate for the Ebony Blade, methinks.
