There's something really wrong about Rorikstead. I overheard one of the little girls saying they were supposed to pull weeds at sundown. It reminds me of Hackdirt in Oblivion- half expect to see daedra dancing in the moonlight there, or something worse.

There is something really weird about Rorikstead. And I'd like to know why Sissel has dreams about Paarthurnax. There may be big things in that little girl's future.

He's the one that's usually standing by Erik the Slayer, that you can sell crops to. I just keep thinking Ebony Blade for him, but maybe I'll get lucky, and a Traveler will get to him first.

I kind of feel for Lemkil due to how the saying goes - "When you go dragon you'll most likely need a wagon."

I always wondered about that, too.renjility wrote...
When I first visited Rorikstead and talked to the villagers there, I kept thinking they had some kind of secret that made their farms so productive and that I could uncover it. I even searched for it on the wiki, but apparently it has to remain a mystery. No Rorikstead quest.
Have you guys noticed circles of fungus growing near some of the dragon burial sites? I found a couple of those over the weekend, and wondered how I'd missed them previously. They were both just a short distance from the actual mound, and were in a perfect circle. I started to wonder if something would happen if I picked all the shrooms, but alas, no.

If it was in the reach then the land would probably be fertilized with the remains of the victims of the Forsworn.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Its not quite in the reach though....so its probably nothing evil.

Hopefully Bethesda will let us do that. My Dovakin marching to the Imperial City with Ulfric beside her and her massive army would be epic.adneate wrote...
Wouldn't both of them be thrilled with a Dragonborn Emperor again? Since the only reason, as far as they can tell, things went bad after the Oblivion crisis was the last Emperor of the Dragon blood gave his life to stop a literal apocalypse. I'm surprised you didn't get to pull a Julius Ceasar and march on the Imperial City with either a Stormcloak Army or the Nordic Legion at the conclusion of the civil war and proclaim yourself Emperor or Empress of the world.
You've got more right to rule than anyone else does being literally chosen by the Gods and invested with divine power.

Sadly that's the life of a post Bleak Falls inhabitant of Skyrim but i have a question. Do you know the exact multiplier needed to make an enchanted fortifying potion that gives you 100% sneak?Giggles_Manically wrote...

They are Alduin's witnesses! Disturbing you on a peaceful Sundas morning by bashing on your door and they'd like to speak with you about the kingdom of the World Eater!
I should put up a sign saying "Here there were Dragons". Maybe they'll get the hint?

Apparently it's a "Fairy Circle". In some of the random threads I found when I googled, it was speculated that Kyne's Sacred Trials quest spawns one or more of the spectral guardians in those circles. That's true in the case of the Guardian Bear ("The Guardian Bear is located near a fairy circle of white caps with a copy of Father Of The Niben and a random staff laying in it." according to the uesp wiki.)termokanden wrote...
I've been wondering about those weird circles as well. I don't know if there's any background story there or not.
I found circles that had varying types of mushrooms, like the image below. Wonder what the meaning is, if any?

Lemkil is one hell of an a-hole. Maybe I should adopt his daughters since he met his end in a dragon jaw. Karma's a ****!
Yeah you do that. I never payed much attention on the folk of Rokikstead, but that guy is an abusive bastard. He actually hits his daughter whenever he wants, not only that, he insults her saying she is useless. You don't do that to an kid! I'm totally finishing him off next time I play the game, then I adopt his daughter to show her how an real good father acts.

They need to be snatched up and taken to a decent home - even if the Dovahkiin is not there to take care of them 24/7, there should at least be a spouse and/or Housecarl around to keep an eye on them.

I find Lucia and Sofie are in far more dire need of help - Sissel might not have the best life but she is at least looked after. Lucia begs by day and sleeps on the ground behind the Bannered Mare at night, whilst dragons and vampires assault cities on a frequent basis. It's even worse for Sofie who has to sleep on the cold stone ground in Windhelm in freezing temperatures with a serial killer on the loose in addition to vampires and dragons.

I need to open up an orphanage! So many kids need the pc's help!

You know, I usually see Sofie hanging around inside Sadri's Used Wares. I think she gets taken care of, off the record. But yeah, Lucia is kinda sad.
