But though I must wait for the DLC, I shall look for some gameplay vids to appear, as well as more intel in articles.

Reading through the Omega DLC feedback thread and found some Skyrim bashing. The one thing I always find hilarious with people that like to blast Skyrim for one reason or another is that its often something like "I played [100+, 60+, 30+, 20+] hours of Skyrim and got bored with it. Totally overrated." Come on people, why are you still playing a game for dozens of hours if you don't like it? Can you even name that many other games you can play that long?
Yeah, that is always up for hoots. I saw one who said he played for an hour and quit because he couldn't relate to his character. Over half that time is used escaping and getting to Riverwood. How would you have time to relate to anything?
There are also a few who say Dawnguard and Dragonborn are overpriced, yet they were happy with spending $15.00 on Omega. I cannot fathom that logic.

Anyway, SO excited for next Tuesday!Does anyone know what the achievements will be for this new DLC? I only just got the Legendary Dragon achievement a few days ago, but the Vampire and Werewolf ones will probably take me forever. Maybe I'm weird, but I just don't enjoy the gameplay as much in either of those forms; if I could still go into first-person as a Were/Vamp then I might not mind it as much.
It didn't take me that long to max the werewolf tree. Just tear through a couple of bandit forts and feed on them and you're there.

Oh, those look good. I am so excited. Is it too silly of me to be so excited that we get to purchase a home there? lol I own so many already, but I have to have one more! Also excited about DragonRider. This dlc can't get here quick enough, I tell you.

I still need to get my werewolf and vampire lord achievements, but honestly, I probably never will. Both are fun, but I rarely ever remember to actually use them. I'm lucky to remember to shout, as it is!renjility wrote...

And BTW, I finally got all three words of Soul Tear - I could have had it several times over by now, in other playthroughs, but finally took the time to get it in this one. Wow, what an awesome shout. It could possibly dethrone Marked for Death for me, and that's saying a lot.
I summoned Durnehviir for the last word, right outside the Karthspire Camp (near the Blades Sky Haven Temple), and just about died of amazement. Durnehviir raised every dead body in the area (and there were a LOT), so we had a literal army of undead tearing through the Forsworn, along with my two Dremora Lords, and whatever creatures Serana happened to breathe life back into.
I summoned him one other time, outside the Dawnstar Dark Brotherhood sanctuary, and he thanked my Dovahkiin for basically rescuing him from the Ideal Masters. He then spent some time just flying around, which was quite lovely to watch.

So this is pretty.
My Laptop would gain sentience, jump out of the nearest window and dive in front of an incoming car if I even attempted to download this.
I wish I had the money to buy a gaming computer that can handle somethng like this easily.

@renjility So the Werewolf tree doesn't really take that long to do then. That's good news, maybe I will be able to get it done soon. I'm kinda like happy_daiz in that I usually also forget all about changing into whichever form.

Looking at those achievements, I can hear the weeping and gnashing of whiners' teeth now. "I have to ride 5 dragons to get the achievement, I only thought we had to do it once, waaaaah!"
Sic the sweet troll on them.
Are you surprized? it makes total sense, from a marketing perspective, to have a meaningless, acheivement-goal for a cartoonish feature. The two concepts (hi-ho-silver dragon riding -and- Look at how cool I am, I got an achievement) appeal to the exact same type of gamer: The type who plays games in order to "accomplish" trophies to wow his buddies on Steam and Xbox live. Of course that type of gamer is going to want to do "kapow!" stuff that makes him feel like a god, and then brag about it online. Stuff like riding firebreathing dragons and other such overpowered flashiness that comes with that.
PS: Didn't me and you have a long, drawn out debate a while back about High Fantasy vs. Political in RPGs? And didn't you say you much prefer the latter? Well, there you go. The opposite of your preference: You get to ride around on dragons. It doesn't get any more High fantasy than that. Enjoy.
