This isn't really a spoiler: I can say that there are some new followers available. I ran across a hireling in the Retching Netch (bar), and did a quest for a mage, and he's now available. There are probably more.
These new enemies are tough. Rieklings, not so much, but those Lurkers? Yikes. And the Reaper Lords are tough, too, but dang it, their armor is worth it (and you can smith it yourself if you have Advanced Armors).
Speaking of armors, lots of new armors. Yay! I also just picked up a treasure map to find the Deathbrand Set.

According to Greengoron, you can't become a werebear. His exact words were that it was a "black mark" on the DLC.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
So they say that it is not possible to become a werebear or to use spears. Is that right? I don't particularly care about those things but I'd like to know if its true or just the ramblings of all those whiners in the Bethesda forums.
I haven't actually seen one yet, but I've been hanging out on the eastern coast, finding map locations.
I picked up some Riekling spears (you need 50 for a quest), and didn't even bother trying to use them. They were little, and only did 10 damage anyway. I haven't seen any full-size spears yet.

Sorry for the --> ME <--- spam, but dang it, that sucks. I did just pick up a helm with waterbreathing, but it's part of a set that requires a treasure map to complete, so I'm guessing I probably shouldn't disenchant it.The Hierophant wrote...
True, i heard that level 12 -14 was the optimal level for finding the enchantmnt, but at level 56 i was barely able to get the muffle enchant and waterbreathing from Adrianne Avenicci, though it'll take you some time if you don't use the console command.Yrkoon wrote...
First off, there's only disenchantable waterbreathing item that has a fixed drop, and it comes at the end of the Ariel's bow quest in Dawnguard.happy_daiz wrote...
Hey, do any of you guys know where I can reliably find a waterbreathing item to disenchant? I'm at level 42, and still haven't found anything yet. This girl wants to go swimming!
I looked on one of the wikis, but didn't find anything of use.
Second, if you're level 42, you're probably screwed. For some reason, Waterbreathing is considered a low level enchantment, and Skyrim's loot dispensing and merchant inventory is level scaled. That means that your chances of finding gear enchanted with Waterbreathing diminish with every level you gain after level one. At level 42, you're close to 0%.
I found two items with Muffle the last time I was in Radiant Raiment, but no waterbreathing. If I could send one to you in exchange, I would!

Yeah I heard about that, seems kind of dumb that they would add those two things but then not give us access to them, especially when a lot of people wanted to do just that. Then again, like I said its no big deal for me since neither of the two are a concern for me.

Well, I saw something pretty dang funny last night. Let's just say that there is a... compulsion... to help work on them at night, so just about any humanoid-ish NPC can be found with a hammer, pounding away. This includes city guards, Reavers (bandits), etc. While doing this, they all chant the same chant.
So I'm at the Beast Stone, right behind a mead house, and have to fight a cultist. No biggie; we take him out, then I went into my inventory, and realized there was some kind of weird mumbling sound. I have captioning turned on, so I don't miss dialogue, and saw dialogue from a Riekling pop up. Huh?
So I got out of inventory, and walked closer to where the sound was coming from. Sure enough, there was a Riekling standing there, pounding away, while chanting in gibberish. Absolutely hilarious.
@darthnick - thanks for rubbing that in.

I tried flames and other fire spells and nothing happends maybe I have to redo the quest :/happy_daiz wrote...
^ Yes, I've done it. What's going on with the flag? You just have to use flames on it, and watch it burn. I like to blast it for a little while, so it burns faster. You really don't get much more than a pat on the back for it, sadly.
I always look forward to that Special job. Linwe's Armor.

I did read the journal, and I know how to open the door. The problem I'm having is that it's not working correctly once the sliders get to the very top. I got the walls to move on each side twice, but by the third time, nothing I do works. Left, right power attacks just bounce off, despite the red streaks being horizontal. Unless I'm just randomly supposed to hit something other than what I did the first two times...or there's some other power attack that I don't know about.BlacJAC74 wrote...

I think I'm actually more excited and impressed with this DLC than Dawnguard. One of my XBL friends was complaining yesterday that he thought the scenery looked too much like Skyrim. I told him to put his happy pants on, and just enjoy the DLC, and he came back and said he was wrong. He just hadn't explored very far. /facepalm
Which is weird, because right when you get off the boat, the architecture is completely different, but I do see some things that are similar. The ones that are make sense.

There's nothing in the journal about that.
You have to do a power attack towards the centre of the door where the crack is if the arches have been moved to the top. I take it both arch lines are right at the top of the door? If not, take a step back, look directly at the lines (cursor pointing at the lines), then power attack. Something should shoot from the sword.

Sweet. I'll be happy to get out of there. Luckily, I kept a save from before I jumped down, but I didn't want to have to backtrack and come back later.
I did mess around with that sword for a little bit, while swearing like a truck driver. It was fun blowing skeleton parts across the room, just by swinging the sword on the ground near them. Heh.

Playing the main quest will get you through two Black Books- the very first one is the one that'll get you the ability to respec your character.
You'll have to beat the main quest of Dragonborn and then go back to that book, but the way it works is this-
You'll go into that book(thus entering Apocrypha) and there will be a marker for each of the skill trees.
Spend a dragon soul for each individual tree you want to respec.
Thus, to completely respec your character, you'll have to spend quite a few dragon souls. If you just want to correct a few things however, you should be solid.

So...it looks like there are seven new armors with Dragonborn DLC. Nice that they package that into one DLC, instead of making it a separate "armor pack".
Iyou, Bethesda.
You know what? I'm going to copy and paste this quote into my "What do want in the next Alternate Appearance Pack?" thread in the ME3 General Discussion section of the forums.
Kind of redundant but if it gets the point across, woot.

It boggles my mind that some -other- game companies are charging for something that should be an inherent part of story DLC. I never really cared about that much in the past, and was happy to pay for it, but now that I've experienced more fully how other game companies do it, that philosophy really grinds my gears.
