I don't think the Morag Tong hit squads are particularly hard, either; I was just wondering if anyone had been able to get the jump on them successfully. They always seem to spot me before I spot them.RedArmyShogun wrote...
I had a run into with them a couple of times now actully. The only enemies I found much of a danger in were the Lurkers.
Lurkers aren't bad if you use Marked for Death. One or two arrows, and they're down. The biggest challenge is distracting them long enough to do that, which is where summons and/or a follower come in super handy.

Did it start with Dawnguard for you, or Hearthfire?

Karstaag's back. Well, the spirit of him. Optional quest, take his skull from within Glacial Cave, place it on his old throne in Castle Karstaag Ruins, then fight him. If you beat him, you'll get a "Summon Karstaag" power that you can only use three times before losing it forever.

@Prince - I got into the castle courtyard, and was wondering what in the heck the point of it was. Kind of anti-climactic, it seemed, but that sounds like fun!

I don't know. Don't think it was specified. Did I read somewhere that the Argonians revere certain daedra? If so, they might consider Scathing Bay a pilgrimage site since Sheogorath is the one who threw the rock that eventually caused the disaster. Maybe they see it as a kind of salvation since it was giving the whammy to their former oppressors.LobselVith8 wrote...
I wonder if the religious ritual has something to do with the Hist?
It might be too strong a word to say that it was a religious ritual. I'm not sure anyone knows much about how the Argonians view religion. Or view anything.
I've never finished the Remnants quest. I did save Simms once- by beating Burke to death with a baseball bat. LOL I haven't ever blown up Megaton- I just can't do it. I watched the scene when the spousal unit played that. My favorite way of resolving that is to spare Megaton by seducing Burke with Black Widow. His love letters are pretty hilarious. Backhand to those who say that there aren't different non-combat ways to resolve quests in Bethesda games. Nothing in Fallout New Vegas was as memorable or fun as Burke in Megaton.I liked the Remnants, and I've always brought them together; it was nice having the Remanants at my side at the Battle of Hoover Dam, reunited. It was my first time saving Simms from Burke. There are a lot of places to see and things to do, and I was never able to get around to saving Simms the first few times I've played. Given Tenpenny's "Wasteland Safari" and what he did to Mei Wong, he's slated for execution.

Ok Frea's voice is driving me nuts. I've definately heard it before somewhere but can't think where. Still leaning towards Lydia.

What is the vampire bug?
You become a vampire that can't be cured despite not dealing with vampires at all. Usually after being shouted at by a Draugr Deathlord, but I could swear I once got it from a dragon.

Anyway, been replaying Bloodmoon.
This is what Draugr used to look like:

The earliest phase of Raven Rock (before filthy Dunmer scum, too):

Snow Prince barrow! Would want to see this again:

Thirsk, outside:

Thirsk, inside:

Skaal village:

Castle Karstaag (also, no Clear Skies shout):

Hrothmund's Bane:

Bloodmoon contains final piece of Daedric armour set (which is unique in Morrowind):

Stupid elemental Stones:

Altar of Thrond + Dwemer air ship:

Plus you don't find many Nords who are all "oneness of nature" and peace-loving. That's pretty much the anti Nord.
But since I haven't played either Bloodmoon or Dragonborn *grumble*, my understanding of the Skaal is pretty sketchy.

My (vampire) mage protection in full robes is beyond the 567 cap. But if you get hit as a mage in the first place, you're doing it wrong. #Master of Illusion
How? I thought max mage armor was around 300 or something?

So what do the people look like in Morrowind, with the overhaul thingie you mentioned? I was thinking they were pretty jagged, and looked much worse than in Oblivion, based on what I remember from a few years back. Did that get improved as well?Skelter192 wrote...

^ It's an idea, although I play on XBox, and I'm not sure our laptop could handle it. Laptops seem kinda weenie compared to towers, but maybe that's an old memory from when I actually used to play on PC. Who knows.
I like Skyrim but it just doesn't compare to Morrowind imo. There is a reason so people love the new dlc and you owe it yourself to find out why.
Well they look better definitely still there don't expect any mod to add Skyrim animations/models.

3*(100+50)+100=550
Ebonyflesh + Lord stone + Mage armour perk + vampire

Get attacked by a vampire and you've a chance to catch it.
If you have played DG and don't mind spoilers...
Serana or Lord Harkon can turn you into a vampire.

Max out Alteration quickly by creating Fortify Alteration equipment and holding down Detect Life on a marketplace, and even a character with the brain of an amoeba should be able to cast it.
