Ah might have to check it out, I found the College in terms of design, cells and structure very poor compared to the Mage guild in Oblivion(the main one, not the mini ones in each city)Addai67 wrote...
Better Winterhold? It spruces up the archmage quarters and adds a lot of little functional bits like sortable chests, weapon racks, cooking pots, bookshelves etc. It also adds a story in between the quarters and Arcaneum called "Dining Hall and Forum" with a bunch of vendors.

The majority of those hours being just my Nord standing around doing nothing while I left my PS3 on for days on end because... well... I'm lazy.
Anyway, gonna start up a Skyrim fanfic now.

I haven't tried any that add or fix stuff in the town. That sad place could use a lot of help, for sure.

Nice find, that is something I've been wanting to have a long time, been looking for an appropriate Winterhold house mod. I hope it doesn't screw my game up. I already had to delete three characters because the saves were screwed due to screwing around with things in the game. Now I have to start over with my Altmer nightblade vampire.

Poor place is crap, only reason to go there is to get that one dragon claw and visit the mages.

I kinda wish there was a questline to restore Winterhold, maybe even find out what really happen to it(what caused this disaster)

Yep.
It's the *** end of nowhere. It's the Wisconsin of Skyrim.

I have a coral, ivory, and sapphire dragon claw. Does anyone know where I use these?
In order:
Coral -- Yngol Barrow
Ivory -- Folgunthur
Sapphire -- Shroud Hearth Barrow

You can take the letter to her over in the Thieves Guild and she's so touched she decides to give you a unique gift, an Exquisite Sapphire.
She said she's had it forever, and the damn thing is worth 5000 gold. I'm keeping it, forget selling it.

Where? Where be this?! I haven't seen it in the Thieves' Guild at all, and that's generally where letters to the members are.

Its over in Solstheim, during Dragonborn. Its completely missable, you can accept a side quest from a character, after its completed he'll give you the key to his house and basement, in the basement is a bunch of things you can take at will, including the letter.

Tis in Dragonborn noble Dwarf.
Damn to the depths the man that thought to keep Dragonborn from us PS3 folk for a month!

Neither have I. They strangely do not show up anymore for me in patrols. Does Northwatch Keep or the Embassy respawn Thalmor?

Sadly his clothes are all enchanted up the wazoo....plus he is carrying a good 250 pounds of equipment right there...with FUS RO DAH equipped.
So I guess as close to off duty as they can get.

Thats awesome. I found the letter, but havent made it back to Skyrim yet. Judging Sapphire's character I wasnt sure how she would take it.
Gems like that you can never sell. Just like the Eyes of the Falmer
