So are there side-side quests? Like on skyrim? From what I have heard, this DLC is packed with so much content it makes all of bioware dlc looks like skin and bones.

Actually, come to think of it, by defualt bioware dlc's are skin and bones.

Well, of course there are side and side-side quests. You can lose yourself in them, there are so many. Image IPB

There are lots of things that aren't marked/named locations on the map, too.

^ That's not quite accurate. The guy in question is an Orc that hangs out in the bar. He simply approaches you himself, along with his bodyguard, and tells you that by helping the other guy, you owe him money. It wasn't a large amount, so I paid it. No big deal.

You will not believe how rich this DLC makes you. Seriously, loot and resources everywhere. If you're not absolutely rich within a couple of days, you might want to stop catching butterflies, and start playing the game. Hehe.

That Orc threatened to harm a dude's wife if he didn't pay him.

I killed that bastard right there.

^ Huh. I totally missed that part. Oops. I'm going to blame that on a random dragon attack in Raven Rock. Image IPB

No no no, its not a part of anything, just random dialogue between NPC's in the world.

I still killed him. Douche canoe deserved it.

Yeah, the Argonians seem somewhat enigmatic; the exodus of far-flung Argonians returning to Black Marsh during the Oblivion Crisis seemed to indicate that they have some connection with the Hist. I'd like to know more about them.

Oh yeah, it says it in the novels outright that the Hist called the Argonians back and drove them into such a battle frenzy that the daedra opening Oblivion gates closed them back up again.  lol

Not sure if I'm telling you things you already know, but an anti-imperial faction called the An-Xileel took power in Black Marsh.  There was a purge of imperial areas through the floating city of Umbriel, but that might have been inspired by a rogue Hist.  At any rate the An-Xileel are still in power as far as we know.  The only other bit about Black Marsh we got in TESV was that Erikur intercepts a shipment of weapons going from the Thalmor to Black Marsh.  Whether that means the Argonians have some kind of agreement with them, or the Dominion is just trying to buy them off, we don't know.

I've heard about that; does Burke still try to kill you if you've romanced him? His Hit Squad attacked me, but I didn't see a letter on any of them since I killed Burke. Yeah, BSG games do give you options, like in handling President Dave of the Republic of Dave. Personally, I found some of the most hilarious stuff in New Vegas to be in the DLC Old World Blues. I loved the characters and story in that DLC.

It's been a while now but as best I can recall you get the hit squads after you, but no letter from Burke on them.  You just get a few love letters from him at the saloon.  It's pretty hilarious.

Still prefer the writing of Bioware to that of TES. While I love both Skyrim and the DA series, found DA far more entertaining.

Ahh, gotcha. His bodyguard is the one that really annoys me. Every time I walk into the bar, I bump into him, literally, because the turd is standing right where my character spawns.

Maybe I'll send one of my exploding flame spiders after him.

Oh really?

I read a quest where a money lender tries sending thugs after you if you help someone out of a debt.
Wow People in Solstheim are just as dumb as the ones in Skyrim.

That's their special way of saying "please kill me, Dragonborn." You don't really think someone thinks that a few thugs will succeed where Alduin the World-Eater and the Aldmeri Dominion failed? The polite thing to do is to oblige them, and send their soul to Aetherius.

Yes, A CANOE OF DOUCHE.

So now I sent that guy to wherever Orcs go in the afterlife. He can be a chache there too if he wants.

That was a cool find, and that dungeon is one of my favorites, especially because of the quest that takes place there.

Yeah, I found something new in Skyrim around 400 hours in.

Way to the West towards Markarth, there's this little cave that is seemingly pointless.

There's a few pools of water, some different kinds of fish residing inside, and underneath the water is a Dwemer statue headpiece. Thats really it.

Thing is, I had never found it until I was randomly wandering around that area looking to kill a Briarheart for a Tel Mithrin quest.

I was thinking, "Damn, if I missed this little area after all this time, how many other places have I missed?"

Just tried buying some spells of Talvas in Tel Mithryn and was pleasantly surprised.

There are a few new spells available. Particularly rune ones which look more then a little fun B)

I keep using the Bound Bow and I haven't even tried using the other magic in the game I now have available.

I'm probably better off that way regardless since my skill points aren't really in the magic trees.

I went to Shalidor's Maze with a different character and her game has the weird void spots, too.  It must be our game in general.  I can't think of any mod that would be affecting it.

It seems I am at an impasse. This game is so diverse that I'm having trouble choosing a race since I had to delete my main altmer character due to corrupted saves. Now I don't know if I want to create an Altmer vampire again, use one of the beast races or create a werewolf character. I hate when this happens.
