Wood elves are wayyy fun too I love play mine.. On a side note whats the best source of filled lesser and below soul gems i'm trying to get enchenting up to 100 but I kind of don't want to keep finding things to fill them with.

I just have one problem with them and the dunmer, its really hard for me to make any good looking characters with either of the two races. Unless there is a mod that can help with that, I would have to spend a lot of time creating either one.

I am not a fan of the Bosmer models, but if you made a High Elf work, then a Wood Elf or Dark Elf should not be a great problem. IMO.

I'm thinking of making a wood elf for my next character. Then again, I've (only!) sunk about 200 hours into Skyrim with my first character, and she's still only level 50 or so. I can't make another character while I still have so much to do with my snarky Breton!

Though I will eventually have to make another character for the Stormcloak, Dark Brotherhood, and Volkihar faction quests.

^ Man, if they would Skyrim-ize Morrowind and Bloodmoon, I'd try them out in a heartbeat. I wish the graphics didn't bludgeon my eyes so badly.

Skrim-ize you say? It's called Skywind and it's still going strong.

Almost finished the Prologue to my Skyrim fanfic. Now I just need to think of a badass title for the series.

"Death to the Thalmor" just doesn't sing. It doesn't dance. Maybe I'll name it after a favorite song of mine by one of my favorite bands, Tristania.

Of Ruins and a Red Nightfall seems fitting, considering the general idea of this series.

Last night, I made it through the Kagrumez trials (Dragonborn DLC). Edit; I had the name wrong.

The prize is pretty awesome, I must say. First, you get your choice of two new "pet" followers. I was thinking there was just the one, but once I got further into the trials, realized there was another. And both seem to be immortal.

The real prize is the new bow you can pick up. It's called the Black Bow of Fate, and it's a Dwarven black bow - yep, you read it right, it's Dwarven, and it's black. The enchantment is pretty substantial: 50% chance of absorbing 25 points of Magicka, Health, and/or Stamina with each hit.

Talk about making a Bosmer's day!

And now, she's on her way to fight Miraak.

How much straight damage does it deal? Level of your character would be nice to know too. ^_^

Unimproved, it's only 34 damage. My character is level 47, with archery around 90. She's a Bosmer; a simple woman with refined tastes. She enjoys moonlit nights, long walks on the beach, knitting, and unicorns...

Haha. :D

Hm, not too bad, I guess. I don't see myself swapping Auriel's Bow for it. :3

Right. Once you've got Auriel's Bow, you don't need much else. I have Touching the Sky as an active quest, but I just can't bring myself to dealing with Serana just now. I'll do it once I've squashed Miraak. Maybe. I don't know. I'm a bit burned out on her.

J'Zargo has worked out well enough, and he's got a lot of personality that I somehow missed before. He hums to himself a lot, and at one point, he was dancing every time he stopped. I'm pretty sure that was a weird game glitch, but it went on literally the entire time I played that night. Kinda made me miss Cicero. He gets lost in Solstheim really easily, though. There must be some odd pathing.

Deal with Serana? You say that as if she wasn't awesome... if that's the case, blasphemy. :I

I thought she was awesome, too, until she started standing in my way all.the.freaking.time. I mean, I let her follow me around for quite a few levels, and she was always pushing me off ledges, bumping into me while lockpicking, standing with her back in front of my face while I was in the middle of a dialogue with someone else....it just got tedious.

Frea seems to have a better AI than Serana. And dat voice. Mmmpf. You haven't been introduced to the awesomeness that is Frea.

Oh, and did I mention that she dual wields axes?

That Dwarven Black Bow sounds like something I'd disenchant and then take that enchantment and put it on stuff.

I haven't been to an enchantment table since I picked it up, so I'm not sure if you can or not. You'll need 4 resonance gems to complete the trials. Two are right inside Kagrumez, one you can buy, the another you can get from the other Dwemer ruins.

I went back into Nchardak to get my last one. I spent a little time in there, and realized there is a bunch of little chests and stuff under the water in that main room. The gem is in the Aqueduct section, behind a door you need to use a cube to get into it. There's still one door that I haven't figured out how to open.

Edit: According to the uesp wiki, you can't disenchant it. That stinks.

I haven't even bought Dragonborn yet, so... yeah.

But oi, I haven't had any problems with Serana's AI at all. Dunno what'cha talking about. :?

I never noticed her doing that stuff before, either. I ran at least 4 characters through Dawnguard with her, and thought she was the bee's knees. However, she's started picking up some bad habits in my Bosmer run, including those things I mentioned. It's almost like she's turned into the vampire version of Barbas.

Maybe I need to actually do Touching the Sky, so she'll stop nudging me. Image IPB

Once I finish The Walking Dead I'll have to go back to Solstheim and get those Resonance Gems.

One would think that but in my case for whatever reason, it never works or it will take a long time. I think dunmer is probably easier than Bosmer though.

Are you making a Bosmer male or female? Bosmer females are easier for me than Dunmer or Altmer females.  I can't get those to look pretty to save my life. And males, forget it.

I don't think the elves are meant to look pretty. Dunmer are supposed to look scary, Altmer b*tchy and Bosmer creepy, and all of them are supposed to resemble animals. Embrace the weird. At least they can wear shoes unlike DA elves.

Neither, in the end I'm going to make an Altmer and an Orc some time later. I would like to make a dunmer or a bosmer in the future though, the thing is I have tried and failed in terrible ways.

^ Orcs are badass. I love mine.

Keep trying; I bet you'll come up with something you like. And if you're having trouble with one sex, try the other. OK, that came out wrong.

Ha!  That's true. Image IPB And why wouldn't elves wear shoes? That still boggles my mind.

I always go for pretty. I spend a crazy amount of time admiring my handiwork.

Yeah wood elf would be my next charcter as well.  Although I dont think I will make a new one for at least two or three years...   I like to plan in advance

You know I suddenly found that I LOVE archery and trying to pull off very hard shots.

I love that its not just a skill you spam but need actual talent to really pull off.
I once shot a bandit at what had to be more then 2 football fields.

Shot him right off a wall from a mountain sadly no kill cam though.

Should've recorded it and sent it to Bungie so they could give you Recon Armor for your Dragonborn.
