My orc is a werewolf. She made it up to Malacath with his quest.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...

I tried to make a redguard for a new thief character and all their mouths are weird. Ditched that idea.
I'm going to make this character a werewolf though, so not really sure if thats really compatible with Orcs though. I plan to make one eventually though.

Yeah but I would prefer if my Orc was a warrior and nothing more, no vampirism/lycanthropy. I guess it falls to Redguard or Nord and it is getting real difficult to choose.

They are? I hadn't noticed that when I made my Redguard.

The Breton wrinkles annoy me to no end, for example. All characters should be able to have wrinkles or not. Sometimes I feel that game designers must spend considerably less time making the player character look good (or bad in a realistic way) than they do with the NPCs.

You could always take lycanthropy for the purposes of the Companions' questline, never use it, and then cure yourself of it at the end.

I love those little touched like that all over Skyrim. And Serana is pretty awesome.

Nope I want to use it. So the solution to that would be not joining the companions as an orc.

Have you been in the Vale yet? That's the best part, bar none.Brockololly wrote...
I'm loving Dawnguard so far, if for nothing else as its an excuse to travel around Skyrim more. Riding to Darkfall Cave and in the Reach I come across this little watering hole. See some clothes all neatly laid out with a letter on some rocks and see the dead body of a woman sprawled across a rock. Read the letter, which outlined how she loved going to relax at this watering hole, Forsworn be damned!

I love little things like that in Skyrim, too. I remember seeing the people soaking in the hotsprings in their underwear for the first time. Of course, I stole their clothes and ran--but it was still a neat little scene to come across. No mission objective, no real reason for it being there. Just a nice touch.
Also, your avatar is amazing.

EDIT: Though reading the ES wiki... it seems to imply that you can't be a Werewolf on their side. You can be on their side or a Werewolf, but not both.
Which seems a bit arbitrary how you have to be a Vampire Lord just to help them. Though it also says that you can get your Werewolf powers back by talking to Aela, where it'll cancel out the Vampirism.

I have a question for you all if you wanted mind. I want to get Dawnguard and side with the vampires, but my character is a werewolf. From what I've heard playing with the vampire hunters is pretty boring(please correct me if I'm wrong) so as of right now I have no interest in getting Dawnguard if I have to side with them. So would I still be able to side with the vampires even thought I'm a werewolf, or would that screw things up somehow?
Siding with the vampires means becoming one and therefore removing your lycantrophy for the quests. I also had just as much fun on the Dawnguard side as I did as a Vampire. The DLC is alot more than vampire vs werewolf (thank goodness) so you'd be pleasantly surprised.

And I found a Steam mod that fixes Clear Skies, so all is again right with the horizons of Tamriel.

I actually pref the Dawnguard vs Vampire storyline actually, though one does have to jump quite a gap of logic to escort Serana home. Whatever; crossbows are great!

i prefer the vampire storyline and most of my characters are not evil at all. In my opinion the choice between Dawnguard and the Vampires isn't exactly black and white. I think both have their bad sides, just that the Vampires' bad side is more apparent because of their nature.

Oh boy. I was tinkering with mods today and finally made a serious effort to get the ENB mods to work. Settled on using RCRN 3.6 plus the Cinematic Lighting ENB preset snce it doesn't radically change the look of the game and seems pretty good from a performance point of view.
Just added those mods and then stepped into the Vale just now.

WOW. I'll have to take some screenshots.

I played an honor bound Vampire Lord, too. But the actual vampiric form was less than I had hoped, so Slkayer it is. However, I do miss having a castle.
The only problem with that castle is that it is a little messy and a little destroyed as well. I've tried looking for decent mods that fix that, so far I've found nothing good except for some WIPs. Is there any good mods that fix that Nexus or Steam Workshop? I wouldn't mind one that fixes Fort Dawnguard either.

Okay, I have to admit it, I'm starting to see what you all see in two-handed.
Yep, two-handed just rocks! You can feel the force of your blows, sending your enemies to their knees.
Trying sword&shield after playing a two-handed orc just feels weak, without weight or force.

And as the leader of the Companions, he chooses his awarded Skyforge Steel Greatsword over other large enchanted choices.
This has been my fave playthrough, and took time to work the various quests to match the desired personality.
